Since we lost the last deadlift competition thread, it's time for a new one. Ideally we can get this stickied, and get some mod reps for the weight class winners. I'll be checking the contest regularly to update standings. Since the thread may last longer than a year, we can declare winners at 1/1/20XX of each year. The goal is to have fun, to push each other, and to reign supreme in O35 in total alphaness.
Note: this is in lieu of a Burpee Competition thread. :P
For this first round, any video dated 2013 will suffice. Group ruling will decide on questionable lifts.

Hmmm, I rarely do a normal barbell deadlift anymore. Here's 375 pound Reeves deadlift from a few weeks ago ( my max is 455, I think the world record is 450 ).
I've got a max deadlift event at my show this saturday, maybe I'll have something worth posting from that.Qualifying for long drive contest with 328 yard drive

Waiting for HardNheavy. I know he has a 600lb pull at just over 200 from this year!
Also.....Bustsinclair is a stump ripper too!
Lots of good and great pullers in the >35.
My goal is to join the 600+lb crew soon. But in the end, it is the pursuit of improvement that drives us all. I hope some of the bigger numbers dont stop anyone from posting vids. IMPROVEMENT and the drive to do so is what really gets my respect.
I hope to see some good 1st time PR's up in here. I dont care if they are 315's 405's or whatever! Let see it!RAW lifts

I am a big fan of straps and really have no issue with them at all. Some purists scoff at them, but hell....this is not a grip competition, it is a lifting one.
With that said, I have ditched straps for my max attempts since I am going to be competing and straps are not allowed officially.
I say, use what you like.....but be prepared to take a little ribbing if you doRAW lifts
