My Friend Got Jumped !!! (pics)

My freind got jumped by 5 men about 4 hours ago and i was talking to him just after. He was on the floor and they were kicking him and jumping on his head ect.
He just covered his head and face best he could and just lay there all crawled up in a ball untill they stopped kicking him.
Im thinking would it of been better to try get up and run away or to stay down and protect your head as much as you can ?
It sounds better to run away but with 5 people jumping on you it was be hard as fook to get up.

Stay down. Happened to one of my friends in some party from the ghetto town next to us. He had to stay down and cover his head but he barely even got hurt, he said his varsity jacket like cushioned all the blows and he had his head covered decently. Same scenario really, like 7-8 black guys just kicking him.

Over some phucking weed too, the kid rolled a bad j and my friend demanded all the money back when the kid only gave half. Other kid started the fight, almost got wrecked before his "homies" jumped in. No way in hell am I, my friend, and another friend going to take like 8 kids even if they are scrawny *******s. If we jumped in like another 10 probably would have and some were definitely carrying weapons due to the ghettoness of the town they lived in.

Last time going to a ghetto party, most of the kids are phucking urban youths and it was gay as hell. There's never fights in my town, people are at the party to have fun and we all realize that.

It's deffo better to cover you head and curl your legs up to protect your genetalia. If he'd tried to get up he'd most likely have been kicked in the face. Also, although these guys are bellends, they're still people. I don't imagine they get all that much of a kick out of kicking some defenceless guy whilst he's on the ground. They'd stop sooner than if he kept trying to fight them.

It's never one on one anymore. I don't mean to sound like an internet hard man, I've never been in a serious fight in my life - but from what other people have told me you have three options:

1) Talk your way out (easier said than done)

2) Run

3) Merk some kid so badly none of the rest of them will come at you. Like snap somebody's elbow backwards or headbutt somebody. All these guys are cowards - if their buddies laying on the ground unconscious with a shattered nose they're most likely going to leave you alone.

I know a guy who lives in a rough part of Leeds. Some guys tried to mug him. The guys basically just went ****ing physcho, started screaming, practically foaming at the mouth to try and intimidate these guys (he lifts so he's a pretty scary guy anyway). The first guy swung for him and the guy I know just grabbed the dude's shirt, charged towards the nearest wall and smashed the guys head against it. All the guys buddies ran away, they didn't want some.

I'm considering buying an army knife for these exact situations. Try to talk your way out, but as soon as they make the first act of violence against you, anything you do is self defense. Stay safe OP.

EDIT: For the record, I would have curled up and tried to protect my head. I'd rather not have 5 guys on my tail.

Bad idea. My buddy got jumped and went and found two of the guys and stabbed them in the lungs. He got two charges of attempted murder and assault with a deadly weapon. Spent over six years of his early twenties inside a prison. You will heal from a beating after a month - you dont want to waste the best years of your life on a stint...

got jumped at a train station once for flipping a dude off while skateboarding hahaha ... he was yelling at me while i was skating a set and trying to make me bail so i made a rude gesture at him and then him and a group of friends came in and he punched me in the chest like 3 times, not very hard and then told his friends to grab my bag and they ran off... i ran after them and they got tired and i said there was a pack of smokes in my bag that they could have if they gave it back to me; they took them and gave me my bag back and we both went our merry ways.
