So you think you can lift? MOCK FITNESS INSTRUCTOR EXAM

I've been looking into starting some weekend personal training for a bit of supplemental income and meeting new people, and found you need a Level 2 Fitness Instructor qualification to do the Level 3 Certifications. I wanted to see how much time it would take to get certified, and did a Level 2 mock exam.

The pass mark on this 20 question mock exam is 70%.

    http://www.hfe.co.uk/info/mock-exams...my-physiology/

Post your scores, and laugh at how easy it is to get certified.
Cheers to queers, and muscle men's rears

45%, haven't done heart/lungs in a while so I mixed up the sides. Some of the questions I just had to guess cos I didn't know the terms. Brb everyone ITT seems to be able to get ~50% of the passing mark without studying.

I read the first 25 pages of a 350 page free personal trainer ebook last night and got 95%. PT exams require a lot more knowledge than the fitness instructor ones!

35%... Not touched a biology book for at least 3 years.

Lol at the fact it would just take a week or two of reading a text book to be certified, proper exercise form mentioned not even once.

When on earth does a personal trainer need to know what specific part of the lungs distributes air to red blood cells? Shouldn't they be more concerned with how one can train to achieve different goals? i.e Muscle growth, muscle tone, cardiovascular improvements, weight loss etc. My jimmies are slightly rustled.

This. Brb when are they going to need to know the order in which blood flows in the systematic circulatory system lol. Would be better if they studied the correct forms for each lift.

That's covered in the practical section of the exam, have to show you can train a client and know/explain the proper form for exercises in a full body circuit + cardio

The heart/lungs stuff wasn't a problem (logic), but some of the energy questions threw me. Still good enough to pass.
