I didnt give a chit initially, been balding since 19, clipped down ever since, but its just gradually eroded away at me, until the point where I want to do something about it. Its great for guys who accept it, and it doesn't bother them... I have other flaws and they don't effect me, but balding is really taking its tole.
But thanks for advice guys, but I think i need to go through with it, Ill post pics next year of when hairs had time to grow back, see how it looks, for anyone who might be thinking of doing it.

bruh i literally have the same hairline as you maybe not that receded not sure (take another pic birds eye if u can) but yh i srsly think you can pull it off..however i understand exactly what you mean when you say you just want a hairline and couldnt give a **** about having legendary locks...i feel the same and would prob do a hairtransplant if i had the money..but i thought you should know the HT docs will put you on propecia even after the transplant as it will be needed so that your hairs behind the transplanted hair do not fall...i suggest you get on propecia now so by the time you get a HT your body will have adjusted to the pill (takes 6-8 months for body to adjust)...

I am on propercia now, but thanks for info, started on it about month ago... and what other people aren't understanding, is like you say I am not after luscious thick hair. All I need is a hairline to frame my face, I will keep it at same length I have now, but it will look ten times better... so it would be difficult for it to go that wrong, the main issue most people have is their hair is still thin. And too the guy who said 10-15k.. No that what you pay if you were completely bald, max I will be paying is 7k if I go a very good/expensive surgeon.. or 3-4k if I fly to turkey to get it done by a good surgeon.
This is pounds I am talking, don't just pluck figures out of the air without researching first.

Didnt read thread. I started balding at 18 and I'm 22 now and completely bald and I still get girls. I have an ugly as fukc head shape too.
Youre way better looking than me so youll be fine. Dont waste money on stuff trying to salvage your hair. Youre only fighting a losing battle. Once the process has begone there is no winning.

thing is you dont need an excellent top notch surgeon as all you want is a a hairline to frame your face..also i think you dont need to go to turkey..try harley street in London..book an appointment see what they say on how much you need (personally id think youd need 2000 grafts max and thats about 3000-4000)...wayne rooney had his done and it was max 12000 pounds and he was completely bald..his hairline looks neat when its buzzed so you wont be paying too high a price for your recession..

I know I wont win in the long run mate... but my hair should look decent until I am in my late 30s, and by that time it wont be as much of an issue.
Yes thats why I might go turkey, because the eqivalent procedure in the uk would be double the cost at least, so looking at an extra 3 grand.. flight turkey and back is about 90 quid... so if I am only looking to frame my face, its easy choice.

If I was your age again... As soon as you notice any hairs on pillow, anything your not used too, I would get on propecia, and rogaine treatment.. it will cost you around 30 quid month but you will keep your hair... if you notice any side effects you think are too much, just stop, but its worth a go.
But you're black, so tend look good with bald head anyway.

This, I don't think people understand the difference... Pisses me off when posters put a guy with a shaved head/buzzcut and say his a good looking bald guy, see it in loads of threads.
I agree hundred percent, if you have good jaw, face.. lean body, then clipped hair looks good, but **** a bald head... It's like bit stubble on face looks great, but fck clean shaven.

Propecia & rogaine brah. Side effects are not the same for everyone. You wouldn't need incredible luck to not even have any actually... try it at least. I heard propecia is going generic (or it already has) in the U.S. so that's good for the price.
Hair isn't everything but if it bothers you that much just try the stuff. The worst thing that happened to me is I lost some tone. So I work a little harder and I accept my current hairline as it will barely change for the rest of my life. Penor still works 100%, have plenty of energy, just lost a little tone but I'm bulking anyway. Stay safe OP hope this helped.
