surprised to get this today, was just looking for 600
50lb pr, was feeling thick,solid,jacked,tanned
--any of you hook gripper peope get screwed up thumbs like pix in vid? seem to always get shety blisters or whatever you call em...Ive tried filing the thumbs/notfiling, use balm stuff on offdays, wash off chalk etc...
Am I doing it wrong or is this sort of 'normal'? pretty sure Im squeezing as hard as I can,etc..

Hook grip always hurts my thumbs, especially the thumb nail. It feels like I'm bruising the skin under the nail but you're using straps, so not sure why you're hook gripping. Also if you plan on competing lose the straps.
Strong lift though and grats on the PR.Best gym lifts
