Yes I am. I take creatine, glutamine, BCAAs and a pre-workout as far as sport supplements go and the usual multi-vits and cod liver types of health supplements.

"Stuff like that", in other words anabolic substances, chemicals, etc

If you're going to use that stuff and not aim to be the best then there's no point really, there are a few guys who go to the same gym as me who are on gear and their physiques aren't much to boast about, they could go cold-turkey, eat/train right and see more gains than they are now.

Some kid who considered himself a guru said the same thing, said cables were a 'con' and to get "big triceps like these juicey boys" (no size or definition) you need to do exercises like blah blah blah
He obviously spouted the same stuff he heard on another video without knowing anything, apparenlty going by him you only get big triceps by benching and cables/machines are for noobs.

There is a point though....to look good. Using the excuse of a plastic trophy is a chitty way to justify drug use. Not a fan of that ideology at all. There's no difference between a guy using chems to look good on the beach and a guy using to pose in a thong on stage.

I disagree. The people who use steroids+ for a shortcut so that they don't have to try as hard are the true *******s of the industry, if someone using gear and gets to a shredded 250lbs+ then they've obviously put in the work and effort plus know what they're doing (the use/abuse argument).

Steroids are needed to push past natural boundaries, they allow you to be better than your best but some use them specifically so they don't have to try to be their best.

That's absolutely ridiculous. Pushdowns are excellent for Triceps and so are Cable Curls or Rope Hammer Curls for Biceps.

Lui Marco is called a fitness guru yet he's been lifting for 20 years and weights 155. He's 5'10 inches tall. Something is seriously wrong there.

I'm 5'8, 178lbs, lean, natural, and I've been training about three years. I guess to be a 'guru' you need an accent and have to master the condescending attitude while knowing f***-all.

Not all steroid users are 'drug addicts', simple bio-chemistry and physics show that you need to apply a lot of effort to get to that size even while on gear. Being on steroids allows you to put in more effort, a natural may be as dedicated and put in the same effort but to keep that size takes a lot of commitment.

The guys over 250 are drug addicts. Two of my training partners compete at Nationals, I have firsthand experience with this group you're tlaking about. It's impossible not to grow on 5 grams of chit and doesn't require much effort besides the food schedule. The only commitment it takes is being able to tolerate multiple injections per day, the pain of those injections, scar tissue build up, having the internal tolerance for such insane doses, and of course, the money. If you can tolerate those doses, you simply blow up.

I admit if I started taking gear and kept everyhing the same including the intensity of my workouts then I'd grow as long as I got the calories in but to grow past that I would have to train harder.
