^ this x500000000
also it says they couldnt determine who took the pic, so the teens werent charged? O.o da fuk. this means the were looking to charge the person for child pornography, not the people engaging in intercourse in the pic. but srs sooo suspicious she waits 3 days coincidentally after the photo gets out and tells her parents she was raped.Last edited by mgsmith93; 04-10-2013 at 02:42 AM.

This sickens me. When I hear of things like this, all my respect for people and society go out the window. After reading this I just don't know what to say. It angers me beyond belief that it was let to happen. Rape is one of the most horrifying and traumatic crimes that one could inflict on another. In this case, her classmates tormented her and spread the photo around ********. I want to meet her attackers. Nom sayin'?

Reading the comments on that DM story rustled my jimmies more than the actual story. How can people just so blindly believe everything and anything they read? If they raped her and posted photos they would 100% have been atleast charged. If she was raped I SERIOUSLY doubt she would have been 'shunned' by friends. That makes absolutely no sense. At all.
It's just the society we live in, women think having sex then feeling guilty about it is rape, and the masses blindly agree with them when they read stories like this.
Anyone killing themselves is always sad but I'm pretty much certain she wasn't 'raped'.

Pretty sure someone's already said this, but she probably wasn't "raped". From the article, "she went with a friend to a small gathering with other teenagers and started drinking vodka" "Rehtaeh only remembered bits and pieces of the night". Typical sloot behavior, we all should know this. It's pretty sad she killed herself, but that was over the whole bullying/pictures thing. That was pretty ****ed up on guys that ****ed her. BUT think about how rustled your jimmies would be if the pictures weren't involved but she claimed to have been raped. The articles are pretty much misleading. The guys didn't get convicted because there obviously wasn't a rape. But they should have gotten something else though. Like how YBD got jailed.

The rape was never proven, the guys over @ reddit were discussing it in detail today.
Police investigated the alleged Rape, the origins of the photos and all the "participants" (for 12 months)
I paraphrase, but it turns out something like the photo didn't actually prove anything, it wasn't a gang-rape rarther only 1 guy having sex with her...
I'm not condoning rape by any means, but u idiots who let news articles like this tug at your heart strings should realise that they are just written in such a way as to ignite emotions.

I don't know what kind of freaks all you guys are growing up with, but I've met about 2 women that have had sex with more than one person at a time. They were typical sloots. This girl just looks innocent, and only 15. Not every girl is into getting trains run on them.
Also, someone should at least have been charged with child pron distribution. Parents, School and also the hospital should have done more for someone that clearly needed help.Arsenal FC

We need a new ideology with the core values of reason, honesty, science and secular progress over the older traditions of religion, superstition and dogmatic faith that have long defined humanity. We will never be free to progress and advance until the last stone from the last church is cast down onto the last priest. And every equivalent.

I live in the same city, and where this happened is definitely on THAT side of town if you know what I mean, not that it matters tho.
Really seems like it went: booze, peer pressure, gang bang, pic, regret, bullying, shame, suicide.
If that's how it happened, can't charge the guys for the act, but the pic spreading and bullying afterwards is pretty harsh

Anyone who's giving strong opinions either way is being stupid IMO. We simply don't have enough information to know what actually happened:
Facts
1) A girl killed herself, and that's tragic
2) The media - especially the Daily Mail - will state 'facts' that may simply be someone's opinion or even made up
3) She may have been raped and been too ashamed/whatever to come forward straight away
4) She may not have been raped and had the so-called 'buyers remorse' after it was made public
5) She may have initially consented and then things got out of hand/more people joined in (which is obviously still rape)
6) The people who sent the photo round are dicks, and the people that bullied her are dicks
7) NONE OF US KNOWS WHETHER IT'S OPTION 3, 4 or 5 SO STOP GETTING PISSED OFF WITH SOMEONE WHO HAS A DIFFERENT OPINION TO YOU☆☆☆υк ¢яєω☆☆☆ [London]
