The program says I need to do 3 sets of as many push-ups as I can each morning (5 days a week), then later that day do my pull-up routine. i watched a short video that outlined the program. The guy in the video said the push-ups were to "alleviate the soreness from the pull-ups and work the muscles that the pull-ups don't work.
My question is, if i already lift weights, do I still need to do the push-ups? I already go heavy on bench press once or twice a week with the strength routine I'm currently following.
Here's the video in case anyone was wondering.
