Question Is there any reason to get multiple PT certifications? Like Getting the NASM & ACSM?

    Just something I've been wondering.

I really wanna know my stuff when I get out into the personal training field.

I realize getting the NASM would be enough to get me hired at a lot of places, but would becoming both ACSM and NASM qualified do me much better in concerns to my knowledge of the body/exercise science field or give me greater chances of getting hired somewhere better?

(Doesn't have to be the ACSM/NASM example I gave btw. Could be any other certifications)

NASM will get you hired in a gym. ACSM is intended for clinical professionals. Without pursuing a degree your info will come from nice cheap books, CEUs, and personal research.
    NASM (CPT)
    ISSA (CFT)

My gym gives more money potential for multiple accredited certs. Get one nationally recognized cert to get in then keep studying new ones if you have time.
