Any of you brahs on dat dere private labeling time? I'm determined to private label a product and test selling in 2015. I have a full time job, but I am taking about 12 days off over Christmas. I figure I can get most of the details worked out and then sit back and wait for samples. Test them in 2015.
I have a product I think should work with good margins, but I'm a bit unsure about the product category. Any of you in on dis?***WetBreasts is gonna make it crew***

Pretty normal. Eats into their margins.
I tend to stay away from Paypal payments after a certain amount anyway because that 3% plus Paypals poverty currency converter makes a big difference
sorry mate I prefer to spend my time on 300% retail margins over some poverty middleman margins. Tried it before. wholesaling takes up far more time and communication, and has so many flakers that don't follow through.
How is 10% ebay fee a rip off when its been marketed and put in front of 10's of millions of people? never understood people that complain about that.
How much would it cost you to market it from a stand alone ecommerce store.Last edited by Vyber; 11-19-2014 at 09:04 AM.

How do I go about this?
Sold a 68' Camaro for a good amount no reserve auction, fresh restoration etc. Guy came over and found some oil underneath from being overfilled (no leaks). Told him I would take care of it etc. Confirmed by mechanic no leaks whatsoever etc. On the Ad I listed all and very few cons it had. But I got a text message from the seller that since It was not as described that he will give me xx amount of money for the car. ($5.5k less than what it was won for)
I feel fcked because if he files on ebay for not as described they will side with him and I am out $50 posting fee (have sold several cars so have to pay an insertion fee) and received a 500 deposit which I put none refundable tag on it. But my main concern is receiving a negative feedback from him trying to get the car cheaper than what he won it for.

ebay is literally the worst sales channel ever. **** traffic and crappy buyers who nickel and dime the hell out of you. My margins are GARBAGE on ebay vs my other channels.
Seems like the only good thing for eBay is for slow moving inventory that you dont care how much it sells for. then you can just auction it off at like 99c starting bid

So I sold 2 items that required the buyers to pay for shipping, yet I had to pay for shipping via paypal when I printed the label. Doesn't ebay credit you the amount that the buyer paid for shipping? Under my payments received section, it has the total amount the buyers paid for the items but it doesn't include the the shipping they paid for.

wtf is going on here guise.... Am I getting scammed? (read below)
I bought a kitchenaid mixer earlier this month for my mom for xmas via eBay - got a great deal on it (190$ shipped) and its supposed to be brand new. I go into it thinking the sale will get cancelled or something since its a $600 mixer, but its worth a shot rite? Ordered it to come to my parents house. A couple weeks go by and the guy doesn't update the tracking info, doesn't mark it as shipped, etc.
Then eBay put this below the listing that I purchased and removed the photo from the listing
so I am thinking that the guys acct got hacked and am no longer expecting a mixer, just want my refund. I call customer support to get my $ back and they said to message the seller. Seller said this
So a few days later I get a refund from eBay and they say my case was closed. Cool.
Then I call my parents and they say they got a 25lb package from Williams Sonoma that is approximately the size of a mixer.... uhhhhhh? what is goign on. I think I got a free $600 mixer, but who is getting scammed?

Perhaps you selected free shipping when creating your eBay listing? Otherwise you should see a single payment from each buyer. The amount will be the auction or buy it now price plus the shipping cost minus the Paypal fee. When you print the label through eBay or Paypal then the postage is deducted from your Paypal.

Its called a drop ship brah .. form of a scam but u wernt really the victim (it's up to u how u wanna go about it)
Here's an example..
Frauder gets list of cc s
Frauder lists ebay/amazon/sears or we resellers site
You buy item pay for it
Frauder buys item u played for with stolen cc then sends item as gift or just changed shipping address to yours (explains a lot if the package isn't in your name)
Frauder transfers money from paypal to another card or sends to another person or account
But I'm just guessing..
Fyi bb.com was hit with this on 10lbs on whey , they were selling on sears and drop shipping them from bb.com2 dumpling crew

Nah, I charged $2.32 for shipping so when I tried purchasing the label, I was a bit confused when it directed me to login into paypal. I figured I had to pay for the shipping and I would be credited the amount after I received my payment, but under payments received/total sales, it only has the amount of the items without the shipping amounts included in it that the buyers paid for. wat do? Is this normal?

Bought 3 grand worth of video games from a collector moving overseas. Sold the PS2 section locally and made my initial investment back, but I can't move the Gamecube, PS3 or N64 stuff. Might have to bite the bullet and start listing on eBay. Also managed to flip a piano, had been sitting in the garage of the house i'm renting. Landlord told me it was mine if I got rid of it. Got a guy into appraise it and he offered me a couple of thousand. Restored it is probably worth about 10k, but ain't nobody got time for that. I'll leave that up to him.

Anyone got experience with shipping higher value items to China? Someone from China bid on a €400 watch of mine, but I'm afraid that it might end badly for me (if their mail system is ****/scam chargeback). I always ship tracked and signed, but not sure if the Chinese post system is reliable enough.
Tempted to cancel his bid and change the listing to civilized nations only (Europe, N America, Straya)
NICE!
For the games, I'd look for dedicated forums or just list the lot on eBay - unless you really want to do everything seperately, but that's a lot of work + takes more time + shipping costs will eat away a lot of the possible profits."Kabananga is believed to be the leader in penis-size to wealth ratio (ala crazy/hot scale) with 3 inches ahead of other prominent CEO's." ~ Time Magazine
