When checking a new niche/product, how do you know if it's worth getting into in terms of listings? Is under 1000 a good sign or is that too much competition? Under 500?
edit: Anyway you can check how much traffic certain keywords get on ebay? (sort of like you can on google)Last edited by Cesarbruh; 10-04-2014 at 05:45 PM.

I go on ebay and look at "completed listings" then get an idea of how many are being sold per day, what the sell thru rate is like so how may of the items listed are being sold and how many arnt, then what i can look to price the item at realistically.
I then work out profits, factoring in ebay costs, paypal costs, postage costs, packaging costs, item cost then take tht away from the item selling price.

Time to talk accounting and taxes.
What programs are you guys using? I have been a Powerseller on eBay for the past 3 years, and come tax time I just used the free Outright/GoDaddy program through eBay to calculate my gross eBay sales. Then, I manually added up my receipts to deduct that cost.
However, this year I have set up an LLC as started selling on Amazon FBA so I am looking for the best accounting, bookkeeping programs to integrate both eBay and Amazon.
A few programs that I have looked at are ********** and Inventory Lab (only works with Amazon as far as I can see)
What are you brahs using?Rep me if you find it ridiculous that very few on this forum know the difference between LOSE and LOOSE!
