Why is Hoodia not allowed?

Does anyone know why it is not allowed to order Hoodia to anywhere in the world except US?

This is something recent.

I tried some other major sites too,same thing.

No matter what product I put in cart,if it has Hoodia Gordonii in it,it can`t be ordered.


Animal Cuts contained Hoodia just a few months ago,and I don`t see it in the formula now,so I guess Universal pulled it out because of this.

The cactus is on the Convention on the International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora so many countries will require proper documentation for buyers to import it. Plus EU laws require that safety and efficacy evidence be filed before sale which wasn't done.
