heres the thing that i've realized tonight. WWE Fuking sucks. the direction, the matches the complete nonsensical booking and inconsistant pushes (yes , im mad about ziggler not cashing in)
what we the fan are fans of , is not the product its this



the logo and initials ''W.W.E''.

hear me out - some of us grew up on saying prayers and taking vitamins. we had a phase of extreme wrestling, degeneration x's and nWo take overs and saw the attitude era first hand. so we are already giving this company the benefit of the doubt when it comes to having great moments and stand out memories.

alot of us , keep coming back out of habit waiting for the company to turn around to being interesting again. creating people on screen that are larger than life or memorable characters that actually stand out so that we can either HATE them or Cheer for them. non of that is happening now. no story line is actually completely finished and somethings are totally forgot about

brb bo dallas fueded with wade for 2 weeks on or about royal rumble for no reason
brb ziggler has a briefcase for nearly a year for no reason
brb who the fuk hired the shield and why cant they lose a match?

The biggest star of WWE is nostalga and past success which is why the card we watched is top heavy with past stars - there i said it

Word. Repped. The WWE has TONS of talented dudes yet they have been sucking ass for a good 3 years now. How is that possible? You've got a full roster full of great wrestlers and yet your company fails time and time again and drops the ball. How am I supposed to be positive about your product when your main pay-per-view event is a massive dud?

Really happy I didn't watch this year based on this thread. I will probably watch tomorrow night and then go on a months long hiatus like in the past. Does anybody know how much time was spent showing promos during the event? I wonder if some of those could have been cut out so that the tag match could have taken place?

This WM was pretty average to be honest. I think for two reasons.

1. I Seem to have lost interest in WWE barely watch

2. The 'small' matches were boring, Punk/Taker did well but unless you bought into Punk having a chance or the nearfalls both of which I didnt it kinda ruined the match for me. Lesnar/HHH was obvious HHH will win so too hard to get into. Rock/Cena they teased a few spots where I thought it would finish but again we all knew Cena was going to win so it was hard to get into it for me.

For me it wasn't the outcomes but the matches were crap like they didn't even care.

And I just realized how good taker is.

When you look at it (hindsight is 20/20) you have rock who hasnt been wrestling regularly, hhh who hasn't wrestled in a long time, brock same thing, you really can't expect a good match.

Yes punk did an awesome job but taker brought it as well.

The sad thing is they probably rushed the early matches to make time for Diddy and the mainevents which could have used less time.

the shield hasnt lost ever. they also have the best set of guys with the most potential to go far; so they actually have no explaination who is giving them matches, they have no real fueds , no direction or reason to attack people. instead of giving these guys the tag belts,or a quest for the ic / us belts, we have them featured here and there with no rhyme or reason. dean is the best on the mic but even he's limited

thought it's the other way around. "small" matches were entertaining to me. granted, i was a fan of dean/rollins/ fandango way before they were on the main roster so it was nice to see that they're getting their WM moments

It just didn't feel like WrestleMania to me. Nothing major happened that left you saying "wow." Not even a Ziggler cash in.. Shield winning was good, Punk/Taker was a good match, and Brock looked like an absolute beast, shame he lost. Not really many positives IMO.
