A brief intro on Capsi-Blast:
I’m really excited about this log for 2 reasons. First of all, I’ve had great results with con-cret which is also from Promera so I am looking forward to trying another one of their products, and second the profile of Capsi-Blast looks very promising. It isn’t filed with a thousand different ingredients but a few ingredients that are currently really popular and seem to be promising. I’m especially interested in the Red and Black pepper extract, which I haven’t tried before but is currently pretty hyped. Here is the complete product label:
About me & background:
I’m 22 years old, 5’9, and roughly 204 lbs. I don’t have any idea of what my BF% is, but I’ll put up some photos and let you guys estimate. I’ve been lifting for about 4 years on and off and did some Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu for about 2 years (had to stop now because of school). I’m currently a student at the University of Central Florida majoring in Biology, should be finishing up in about 3 more semesters then hopefully move on to pharmacy school somewhere here in Florida.
Diet:
Throughout this log I will be aiming to hit around 1700-1900 calories a day although it will vary from day to day. With cheat days included (twice a week) I imagine I will average about 2k calories a day or 14k/week. I am cutting down from about 215lbs so I do not want to cut too fast to minimize muscle loss. My work and school schedule is pretty crazy so I do my best to stay on track.
If you use My Fitness Pal follow me so you can see exactly how my meals are! I’ll be sure to follow back☺ username: AndreGBK
Exercise:
I usually work out 4-5 days a week and try to do at least 10 minutes of cardio at the end of my lifting sessions if time permits. I work out at 6:30am before I go to school/work so I always train fasted and my body actually has adapted to this and I have a good amount of energy like that. Since I am currently doing cardio often I just add some light squats with my workouts to keep my legs in shape and I walk a lot around campus (UCF is a huge campus). I’ve always had big legs thanks to genetics so even with the temporary hiatus of hard leg training they haven’t suffered. I’m usually in the gym for about 50 minutes on week days and longer on weekends. I’ll get more into my actual sets as I update the log daily. My workouts are as follows:
Day1: Chest
Day2: Shoulders/calves
Day3: Back
Day4: Biceps/Triceps
Day5: Core training/extended cardio session
(I don’t have a set Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc. schedule because some days I can’t make it to the gym but I stick to this order since it works for me)
Edit: I hope to have some photos up today, need someone to take proper photos of me.
I can't wait to get the product in my hands and get this log going! My log partner YeagerBSN will be posting his intro here shortly, I hope you all are ready and subscribe!

Sorry for the lack of updates guys but I finally got my Capsi-Blast in the mail last night when I got home from work. Since it was a little late and I was going to bed in a few hours I had to resist taking it! Unfortunately today (Friday) is an off day for me, but I took it this morning and here are my initial thoughts:
Taste & Mixability:
Taste was good, I got the blue raspberry flavor. Pretty much tasted just like it sounds which is a good thing haha. There was quiet a spicy after taste almost like i ate some peppers. Some people may not like this but I actually did...then again I love spicy food lol. Mixed really well there were some clumps at the bottom but I just stirred it with 4oz. of water. I'm gonna try to shake it with about 6-7oz. tomorrow before the gym.
Effect:
Although I didn't feel the thermogenic effect since I pretty much sat at work all day, I did feel the extra bit of energy from it. I got up around 6:30am and took it and it definitely helped me come to my senses faster than usual. I'd compare it to having an espresso in the morning, nothing crazy, but it wakes you up and gets you feeling good. The benefit is that since you don't have to brew it you get that boost a lot quicker.
Tommorow I will be hitting the gym at 8am (as soon as they're open) and doing back. I'm already feeling pumped to really give it a try at the gym. I was considering doing a scoop and a half since I'm about 204lbs but I'll take the recommended 1 scoop tomorrow and maybe jack it up to 2 on Sunday when I hit biceps and triceps. I'll keep you guys posted!
And as promised, Here are current photos. I just took these, no pump whatsoever last time I was at the gym was about 36 hours ago haha.

Unfortunately I was unable to get to the gym this Saturday because some family stuff came up but I did get to do my back workout this morning and honestly I think I made up for the last day. I took 2 scoops of the capsi-blast and although I didn't feel anything after taking it, my energy at the gym was incredible.
It was definitely different from regular preworkouts in the sense that you don't get this sudden burst of energy and my heart didnt start racing but I was just able to take shorter rest periods and even get a few extra reps in while feeling good. At the end of the workout I was definitely tired, but not more than usual. Definitely not burnt out like I do when I take other fat burners or preworkout supplements. I definitely broke a sweat too. I didn't feel hotter than usual but I was constantly having to swipe the sweat off my forehead more often.
This was my first day working out on capsi blast so it could have very well been placebo or the fact that I haven't been in the gym for 2 days, but the extra sweat was undeniable. Ill be back in the gym tomorrow and ill keep you guys updated!Check out my current ProMera Sports Capsi-Blast Log!!

Thanks for stopping by everyone! I just wanted to give you guys a bit of an update. I've been feeling kind of sick the past few days, I believe its because of the terrible weather we have been having here in Florida the past few days. I got caught in the rain on Monday and ever since I've been feeling completely drained. I think its just a small fever and hopefully it will be gone tomorrow but I don't want to get anyone else at the gym sick or worsen my condition so I decided to take an extended rest. I'm still taking the capsi blast and its been helping me by giving me some extra energy but it really sucks that I can't tear it up in the gym as I had planned. I have to go to school today to take a biochem exam but after that I'm coming back home and trying to rest it off. I'll check in a bit later!

Lmao thanks Tri, I actually decided to man up and went to the gym this morning since I was feeling a little better. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger right?
Today was chest day, had to make it a quick workout since I planned on doing some cardio after the gym with my gf but here's pretty much how it went:
Chest Weight Training
(#of sets x #of reps)
Dumbell flat bench press: 4x10 of....45,75,85,100lbs (did 5 reps of 100 and dropped to 75lbs and did 5 more)
Dumbell incline bench press: 3x10 of....75lbs (did a drop set of 10 reps of 50lbs immediately after my third set)
Hammer Strength machine decline bench press: 3x10 of....180,145,145lbs (did these as fast as possible to burn out my chest)
Machine pec fly: 3x10 of....175lbs (last set I did 10 and kept dropping weight by 10 pounds til I got to 100 doing about 1 rep at each 10 pound drop)
Cardio
Alright some of you are gonna laugh at me for this, but after the gym we went home and we did a 25 minute session of this kick boxing dvd from some chick jilian michaels (sp?). I thought it was gonna be a breeze but it was actually pretty intense, broke a mean sweat and was exhausted at the end. It was my first time doing something like this, but I did it since my gf begged me too lol. I actually liked it because I was able to shadow box quiet a bit and do more push ups to wrap up my chest day. Next time I'll do it with my 16oz boxing gloves on.
Calories Burned According to my Polar Heart Rate Monitor Watch:
Weight Training: 360cals in 40 minutes
Cardio: 350 in 25 minutes
Total Calories Burned: 710 calories in 65 minutes of work out time
Capsi-Blast impressions:
Once again I think I sweat more than usual during my workout today. Since it was the first time using my polar watch I'm not sure if I burned more calories with it than without it, but I did notice the usual additional energy boost from the capsi-blast. Like I said before even with me taking 2 scoops I'm not noticing any negative side effects that I've had from previous PWO's like trouble sleeping, dizziness during/after workout, or crashes.
Tomorrow is shoulder day/calf day. Hopefully I'm feeling even better today and try to get another great weight/cardio session in!Check out my current ProMera Sports Capsi-Blast Log!!

Alright guys so today was shoulders! My shoulders are probably my weakest muscles so I am trying to hit them as hard as I can and I think it went pretty well. I had to skip on the cardio today but I used my Polar heart rate monitor to keep my heart beat at least 140bpm throughout the workout (I have about 55bpm resting so 140 is a good level for me). As usual I worked out on an empty stomach. Here's the workout:
Shoulders
Seated Dumbell Press: 2x10 @ 50,65lbs......2x5 @ 75lbs (on last set did a drop set, 75lbsx5 reps, 10 sec rest, 60lbsx5 reps, 40lbsx10 reps)
Lateral Delt Raises on cable machine: 3x10 @ 15lbs
Face Pulls on cable machine: 3x10 @ 42lbs
Rear Delt Fly's on machine: 3x10 @ 70lbs
Arnold Presses: 3x10 @ 40 lbs (super set)
Barbell Trap Raises: 3x10 @ 70lbs (super set)
Other notes:
Spent 59 minutes at the gym today, I went with a buddy that is new to weight lifting so I had to explain some of the workouts but it still had a good workout. Here's a photo from my watches stats:

Looks super solid to me! Reminds me of my bodybugg days, looks about right too with what I burned in an hour then too. I would recommend at least a protein shake 30-45 minutes prior to working out so at least your not totally empty. Protein before a workout never hurt anybody, and you may find better performance throughout. Just a tip for what it's worth!

Actually I lied man, I just remembered that I had a banana and a tbsp of peanut butter before my workout. I used to have shakes before and after my workouts but money is tight so I just save them for post workout. I'm gonna see if next month I can stock up on more protein or possibly get some BCAA's since I heard theyre good for working out fasted.

Alright guys, here's my log for today! Had some capsi-blast, and a tbsp of peanut butter and I was out to the gym!
Back Workout
1) Lat Pulldowns: 100lbsx10reps (warm up), 140lbs x 8 reps, 160lbs x 6 reps, 160lbs x6 reps (drop set to 140lbsx5, then 100lbsx10)
2) Cable Rows: 140lbsx8, 160lbsx8, 160lbsx6 (drop set to 140lbsx5, 120lbsx7)
3) High Row(?) on machine: 75lbsx10, 90lbsx8, 90lbsx8 (drop set to 80lbsx6, 70lbsx8)
4a) Low Underhand Row(?) on machine: 145lbsx8 (3 sets) (superset)
4b) Standing Shoulder Shrug Machine: 180lbsx10 (3 sets) (held each shrug ~2seconds) (superset)
5) Back hyperextensions: held 45 plate, didn't count reps just went to failure every set for 3 sets. Did random ab stuff between sets.
*no deadlifts today, felt a weird pain in my left arm and I didn't want to injure it further by holding on too really heavy weight, pain occured below left deltoid when I extend my arm. Thinking it could be a tendon of some sort.
Cardio
Did roughly 20 minutes of that kickboxing cardio stuff with my gf after the gym. Really finished me off, I could hardly move after. Heart rate was constantly around 160-175, good stuff.
And here are the overall stats once again!:

BCAA's intra workouts are fantastic all around. If you get a good tasting one, than its a tasty drink to sip on as opposed to just water. Not that water isn't enjoyable also.

Nothing quite like a rest day.... I sure enjoyed mine today. I ate so many grilled goods and then CAKE! It was a birthday party of course, and I didn't hold back! Sweet tea, cheese cubes, chips/doritos galore (and I do mean GALORE), burger, 2 hot dogs, chicken thighs, and finally potato salad all in one sitting. Then desert of course which consisted of cake, ice cream, pumpkin pie, and orange juice..... now I am going to slip into a food coma...goodnight! Well...after a final glass of water and milk...not together...

I had about 1k calories of thin crust pizza yesterday and it was pure awesome lol. Now I'm gonna be on a super strict diet for the rest of the week already left some chicken defrosting before I left for school this morning haha.

I am the king of cheat meals! Though I can tighten it up a bit when I want too. Work super hard, and eat well so you can enjoy a round 2! Just be careful not to enjoy too many rounds in a months time...I try to keep it to once a week myself, but "once a year" events can creep in here and there for a little extra sometimes . I mean who wants to be the guy at the party sitting with celery sticks while everyone else is enjoying pizza, bbq, and other like items! I am hardcore when I am by myself, but i cut loose when it is an event intended to do just that...cut loose!
