that is the misc ideology. and it's what i've lived by for the past 2 years or so, and i love life, but at what point do we really "make it"? i dont know if there will ever be a point where i am completely satisfied. i feel like it's like a goal that can never truly be realized.

you can never be 100% contempt with your existence, since it's within our nature to be striving for more. For me making it means taking steps towards reaching your goals, having a passion and following it while still living and enjoying the present.

I don't remember where i read about the "there" and the "now" but it was summed up as something like this.

If you don't enjoy the "now" you'll always aspire to be "there" and when you get "there" then you will aspire towards another "there" going around and endless cycle instead of just slowing down and enjoying the now. While taking steps ans precautions so your now will always be as fullfiling as it can be.

That feel when you realize that college was so much better than the rest of your life will be.

23 here. Turning 24 this year.

Feels old (although people >23 will say that 23 is still young).

I'm at the stage of my life where I've finished a University degree and am working full time now.

I do enjoy my life and look forward to what the future brings, but I miss the care free youth days where you don't have to take so many things so seriously and when the world is at your feet. When you're young you think that you can do anything and your possibilities seem limitless.

As you get older and gain life experience, you also lose your youth. Not necessarily by choice. As you get older you tend to think about the big decisions like your career, buying a house, marriage, kids, etc. These things can all make you happy and fulfilled but they also carry huge responsibility. Whereas when you're young your biggest responsibility is gaining aesthetics, getting good grades at school, if the girl in your class likes you, finding out about the next party, looking for sloots, etc..

Feels good but also feels bad man.
