Push ups might be you best bet if you want to keep it simple if you want to stick to just one exercise in conjunction with curls. Specifically for curls this an exercise I have always found leaving me sore as hell, something called 21s. Put a little less on the bar then you would normally use and do seven curls half way up then go up all the way and come halfway down and up seven times, finally do seven full curls. As many sets as you can do. As far as push ups just do as many as you can over the course of the day. Increase the number in your sets as you get stronger. Some people might hate doing push ups but usually its because they get frustrate, keep them up and you will surely get results.
