A fight between a Lion and Tiger could go either way. Lions grow up fighting within their pride and defending themselves from other packs, so they have more fighting experience than Tigers who usually hunt and live alone. And Tigers aren't considerably larger, the difference in weight is so negligible that it would barely account for anything in a real fight. Get educated *******

Typically, a lion can weigh up to 550 pounds, and a tiger up to 800 pounds. Unless 300 pounds isn't substantial?
Lions do have more fighting experience and they are somewhat more aggressive, whereas tigers will run away if to avoid any injury. I do agree though, both would be very even in a fight.
I remember a story in the news in 2011. A lion and a tiger were side by side in cages. They were eyeing each other, both got close to the cage, the tiger killed the lion in one swipe with his paw. Cut his throat open and lion bled to death.

The legs are its weakness.
You manage to get two large guys tree hugging the legs and position the gorilla so it's face down, its incredible strength becomes obsolete.
Sure they can bench 1000+ pounds but the gorillas strength isn't going to mean much if it's immobilized, just the same as any grappling match.
It wouldn't be able to openly swing it's arms and even though it may thrash around and people would be injured, you could finish it by having 4-5 others jump on the back and pin it further.
Once that is complete, you gouge the eyes and it becomes a waiting game.
I'm going to say 5-15 very brave men with experience._____________
Always pick 5 crew.

"suggest that the gorilla has the muscle power of between 8-15 men and possibly more."
taken off yahoo answers for how strong a silverback gorilla is, but looking at a lot of studies guy who said that is probably right. so if i had to guess, it would probably take a big pack of like 20 guys who are fit just to take one down... thats my guess at least
