So, I recently joined a 24/7 gym. Much smaller than the prior gym I belonged to, but really cool. They have a bowl of fruit out for everyone to take their pick, everyday--just a subtle nice touch.

Just curious, anyone here belong to a 24/7 gym? The 'concept' is interesting, because so many people work different shifts, and gyms typically close (my old one used to) @ 10pm ...so, it's nice to be able to have a full gym at your disposal anytime you like.

Anywho...hope everyone is having a gr8 week? Hugs xxoo

I go to one...I go at 10am erry day tho. Thought about going at diff times just to scan the crowd/atmosphere.

I go to a 24/7 gym. I'm glad that these are around now because otherwise I would really struggle finding the time to go. I never train when it's staffed.

My week is improving. I caught a cold and felt like rubbish yesterday. It seems to be going though so hopefully I'll be ok for the weekend.

Glad you are feeling better. I hate colds. They're enough to make you feel blah, but not enough to make you go to bed...yanno?
I highly recommend 'ester-c' which is a great vitamin c supp. I take it daily...and knock on wood, I have managed to stay sick-free for a long time. Not sure this is sold where you are, but you could always buy it online, if not.

a raddddiiiooooo voice i'm imagining it. we must hear it! don't keep us in suspense. hehe
i have been told i have no accent. some say a slight jersey accent. some say it sounds sexy. some say it sounds soothing.
i have talked to a few peeps offline here. some say, i sound totally what they thought, others say...no way.
perhaps, i will do the vocaroo-thingy lol and u can be the judge!

Do it...unfortunately the only Crossfitters I know IP are supertools who are the opposite of what I want to be like.

I love that there is a competition like aspect of it (I'm super competitive with myself and others lol), but I also hate that typical crossfitter attitude. I just like to lift! Doing it with a brand name doesn't make you any better than anyone else! I know a girl who just started her own crossfit gym, she's a pretty smart girl so I have some faith she'd actually run a good gym. At least I hope!

I tease my husband all the time about his meticulous care of the front lawn. It reminds me of old men who have nothing else to do. I love to come home after he has mowed and tell him he missed some sprigs and would he like some scissors.

We had some grass put down in the back. He waters it daily and the dogs can't walk on it yet. IT'S GRASS!
