I like the opening season thread so much think we should keep it up for the whole season.

Mets were baking nicely, Kershaw went Kershaw, Harper is a beast.

I was equal impressed with samardzija, and sale yesterday.

For tonight I'm looking forward to Dickey and the stockpiled Blue Jay vs the Indians.

Looks that way right now but that roster is a lot stronger when A-Rod, Jeter, Tex, Grandy get back.

I do think the Reds vs. Tigers is a good predication also. I went on a limb to put Cards ahead of the Red in the standings but I think the Reds are more talented. The Nationals look like they are nasty also.

I'd take Cueto as my SP irl over Latos but Latos in fantasy. Chapman is the best closer in the game, but is a closer not a starter for a reason.

I did something I haven't done in months today; watched first take. Wanted to see if they talked about baseball.

Just lmao. 2 hours and like 10 minutes of that was dedicated to baseball(9 of which was about the Yankees). That's whatever, expected it. Their audience is nba/NFL fans so I can't get mad. However..

They talked about how many rings the Nationals would get with Stras/Harper, and dumbass Stephen A chimed in. Rambled about how baseball is a team sport and one pitcher and one position player isn't going to win you a championship, you need a deep lineup/defense/deep pitching. As if he was saying the Nationals only have Stras and Harper.

i stick the other networks, NHL,NFL,MLB... i dont watch NBA or ESPN, but I can't stand Stephen A.

don't watch espn a lot but I was watching the ending of the Arizona and St. Louis game on espn and got all giddy when the intro to baseball tonight which followed the game. I much rather watch the MLB network or the local sports channels.
