Oregon lost the NCG not because of Mariota(65% passing, 333yds, 2TD 1 INT). They lost because Elliot ran all over the defense averaging 7yds a carry, almost 250yds and 4TDs. Cmon bruh

Mariota has the higher ceiling imo. Winston will get killed behind our line. We need someone who is accurate outside the pocket and won't get easily baited by LBs. This gonna be a long rookie season for sure.

1 day away fellas. Both are immediate upgrades so Im gonna be good with whoever we pick.

I'm sure the guy who's only been playing football half the year up till this point doesn't have a higher ceiling...

Well we can go ahead an write off your entire post because Talib never won a title. What is staggering is how pitiful that list is considering Gruden spend SEVEN SEASONS in Tampa. He cannot evaluate or develop talent, he is a pure Xs and Os coach, and that is why he is working for ESPN instead of coaching an NFL team. The fact that we made horrible choices with the coaches after him does not suddenly make Gruden a better coach.

Davin Joseph and Talib were the only players worth anything in this league that Gruden drafted in 7 seasons. 7 let me say that again not 1, not 2, not 3, not 4, not 5, not 6, but 7 seasons and I got ****ing Davin Joseph. I could toss darts at a draft board, and bring in more talent than that. I think the best strategy would be to find out who Gruden likes, and just do the exact opposite, just fade all his picks.

I know La'el Collins seems like an untouchable after the recent news but I'd take a shot on him if he falls. To get a first round grade tackle later in the draft would be fantastic, and we desperately need line help. I don't really see it happening considering the risk involved with Jameis, but he could be the steal of the draft.

Lol everyone saying they're going to quit if we draft Winston or Mariota. Lettuce beef real tea we're probably still going to suck no matter who we draft. At this point I'm just excited to see who we take and put all the speculation to rest. If they pan out, great. If not, then it wouldn't really surprise me.

I love what we've done so far in the draft trying to address the QB and Offensive Line. A lot of people may not like who the actual pick was, but I think you can at least be happy were trying to address big holes with more talented players in this draft. I wonder if Day 3 is when Lovie takes some defensive guys.

lol 2 years in a row, and it's not like the defense is in a good spot. I think those 2 WR picks would have been better served by picking 2 defensive players but I can see why we took them. We've got Evans and Jackson but neither are the best route runners or inside guys. Their biggest strength is down the field where they can use their size and speed. We have no one who can work the middle of the field and on shorter routes, team needs massive improvement there and I think our coaching staff and front office doesn't think much of ASJ after last season.

Bucs picked up DJ Swearinger (Safety) and Khaseem Greeene (Linebacker) off waivers today. Neither guy has had great careers so far but they were a 2nd and 4th round pick from 2013 so these guys have some talent (or at least the Bucs think they do).

OLine looking soft, weak, porous. Secondary is looking bad too, but we are missing some starters @ safety.

Also Winston was about what I expected for his first game. Had some first game jitters but also stood and made some nice passes. Hope he continues to develop.

ASJ is a terrible football player. That 2nd round pick is going to end up being a waste, and frankly was surprised Lovely spent that high of a pick on a tight end when that position was never a focal point during his time in Chicago. They spent a 1st on Olsen, underutilized him and then traded him away to Carolina where he's been a beast ever since. The 2014 Tight End class in general has been garbage. ASJ stinks, Ebron was a joke of a pick that high, and Amaro is apparently buried on the Jets depth chart after having a few flashes last season.

I wish we had spent this draft taking Jameis and the rest offensive lineman lol. Rough first game for Jameis but was to be expected. Laughable special teams as usual, first two drives started on the 5 and 10 yard line. Also extremely conservative playcalling isnt going to help Jameis. Teams don't respect him so they are stacking the box. calling two run plays in a row and making it third and long is a sure fire way for a lot of three and outs. Instead of being ultra conservative with these runs call some safer pass plays. Some short easy routes: curls, outs, slants,a check down to the tight end or running back, maybe some screens.

The playcalling reminded me of 2012 with Freeman. Hand off to Martin, hand off to Martin, lob it deep to VJax.

Granted, I think Dirk was just letting Winston get his feet wet. Expect him to open up the playbook once the regular season starts.

Actually think the defense will be decent if the secondary gets its act together.

Won't be better than CAR but should be good enough for 2nd in the division.

2nd preseason game was way better for the team, we always seem to do well against the Bungles. Jameis looks good. Reading the coverage, making solid throws, taking what the defense gives him and not forcing it. Was a solid outing til he fell on that dropback and got his ankle rolled a bit. Should of been immediately pulled, no idea why Lovie is just standing there with his usual clueless look. Martin had a nice game, giving us some belief he might not be dead after all. Defense was creating pressure and getting turnovers.

We did lose Mike Evans with a hamstring injury, no word on how bad it is but as a precaution he's done for the preseason. Could be back for week 1.

Last game was not good. Dougernaut looking back to his old self. Hopefully he can take some of the pressure off of Winston so on 3rd and 1 HE CHECKS DOWN TO THE WIDE OPEN RECEIVER WITH NO ONE WITHIN 5 YDS INSTEAD OF HEAVING IT DOWN THE FIELD TO A TRIPLE COVERED V-JAX. DA FUK...
