Reread what he said.
He was only counting the first part of Naruto, not the gazillion filler episodes that closed the season before timeskip. Before that there weren't that many pure filler episodes.
But yeah stupid long ass filler arcs is what killed Bleach I believe.

Bleach fillers minus the bount arc were just awful. They didn't even bother to try to keep continuity with the storyline, they're just oh here's an alternate story going on at who fukin knows when

Then you saw the "Invasion of Pain" arc. You have Konoha's History filler (arc) before you, then the Five Kage Summit (ok-ish arc, bout 20 eps long), then another filler arc (sea travel), then a small arc about Naruto and the Tailed Beast before you catch up with the current arc: Shinobi World War

I'd say if you skip all fillers, you are about 60 eps behind.

Also didn't liked any filler arc in Bleach - each time the powers were totally misrepresented. BRB - in canon Ichigo is fighting the one of the strongest fighters (Byakuya) on par without a Bankai, BRB - he needs Bankai plus Getsuga Tensho to defeat Byakuga's rogue Zanpakuto ...

I hated bounto arc

Wasn't a fan myself (and this is before I knew what fillers even were) but at least they attempted to blend it into the actual story. There's an episode during his vizard training where one of the manifestations he has to fight is the head bount for example

Damn, good thing the semester ends may 20th lol, Naruto is the only show that gives me DBZ feels from when i was a kid, and any good arcs or they all sucked not about to watch naruto travel on a boat for 20 episodes.Also did the manga end yet?

First time trying Sword Art Online. Got to episode 11 now and starting to doubt that this anime is good. I'm waiting for epicness. It's turned into a love-story (not bad in itself, but I don't feel emotionally involved because I keep expecting kick-ass action). Carry on or give up?

I feel your pain. Same thoughts I had, when watching the first two episodes I was excited. The anime had sooo much epic potential. I ended up watching it all but you really aren't missing anything if you just drop it. The second half it is similar to a repeat of the first half for the most part.

Just, just keep watching. I thought the same thing. Best ending to any anime/show ever. Just...I can't really describe it, but chit gets real. You will also shed many tears, very manly tears though.


edit: As for guy asking about SWO. Just watch it. It may not have the amount of action you want, but I did find that they ended episodes well, and always has me wanting more. Still a good story, but they didn't draw it out and make it as long as they should have/as much fighting as they should have. Hopefully they correct this in Gun Gale Online.

I can watch at least 5 eps a day on weekdays. 25 eps/ week. At least 10 eps on the weekends starting on friday. 30 eps/weekend
