I have some weights, pull up bar, yoga mat. What are some other, absolute needs, to have at your home for workouts?

I disagree with this. In order of priority:
#1 dumbbells
#2 bench
#3 barbell + weights
#4 power rack
Reasons
1. You can hit every muscle safely with dumbbells alone for pretty cheap.
2. Next toss in a bench for variety and assistance with dumbbell movements.
3. Then a barbell and weights to deadlift with.
4. Then a power rack so you can barbell bench and squat safely.
5. As a bonus I'd got for a set of rings next for every variation of pull ups, dips, and a variety of bodyweight movements.▪█─────█▪ Equipment Crew #54 ▪█─────█▪

1. Unicycle.
2. Shake weight.
3. Unitard.
4. Chucks.
5. Sweat band, like Richard Simmons wears. You need a good rack, a bench, and a 300-lb Olympic weight set. Now, what was your question?

You make a valid point there, Dice, but the Unicyle is at the core of the home gym and, coincidentally, works the core.

1. A DVD copy of Pumping Iron
2. Barbell and plates
3. Rack/squat stand etc.
4. Bench
5. A DVD player. Until you get to this point, you can just look at the case while you squat. Possibly read the blurbs or whatever else comes with it.
6. Posters of your favorite sports team or supermodel. This assumes that you already have the Muhammad Ali one, the Empire State Building photo with the guys eating lunch and that other one where the train is coming out of the building.
7. Inspirational quotes to get you in the mood, such as "I owe a lot to my parents, especially my father and mother." - Greg Norman. Or "That's inches away from being millimeter perfect." - Ted Lowe.
