Best Pro Fitness/Bodybuilding Magazines?

I enjoy amatuer prints / WBFF Fitness Comp / IBFF Pros ...... Top 3 magazines in your opinions?

Probably MD, Flex and something else.

If you're British there's a magazine called Beef or something like that, never bought it but it seems to cover a lot of amateur comps and the like.

It's basically 5 pages of ads for 1 page of actual reading material/photos. Sadly, they're all horrid now.

not sure why mags suck now... the mags of the 90s were awesome


muscle mag had phenomenal contest coverage. now, nope.. muscle mag now is terrible kinda


md had awesome posters but meh coverage, too short. now md is probably the better magazine, but still not that good

FLEX used to have entertaining gossip articles and decent coverage of contests. they were filled with cool stuff. now, it's OK but meh

npc news was amazing.. now, i think it's pretty bad

ironman was never too good imo, but at least it had pretty cool contest coverage. ironman now is a joke, just haf naked women on every page



muscle and fitness used to have a lot more bodybuilding articles, was still not good for bb though.. now muscle and fitness is terrible for bodybuilding. all covers are just physique guys or bruce lee

I agree with this.

1 of many things I do like about MD is they don't attempt to pull the wool over our eyes and not discuss the obvious-everything is fair game.
I may still be getting lied to but at least its about different things.

thanks for the feedback, guys... I guess using the internet is the best source for news, articles, & photos. I just dislike what I heard MD published a few years back with Lee Priest (hate this guy with passion) making fun of the mentally ill 19 year old who killed himself live for the forums. i thought it was completely messed up. I will never buy into their magazine or ever support Lee (he has even lied to international fans out of merchandise and money). Thanks all

I always get MD Mags to read when I'm at work, so I guess I'd go for them... even though they photoshop the HELL out of the athletes on the covers
