I'm not sure if these were posted already, but:
Lancer L5 AWM smoke/translucent 30 round mags for $19.99
https://www.primaryarms.com/Lancer_S...gls2320-01.htm
They have other mags in stock as well. 20 round versions of those for the same price, and the same $14.99 Troy Battlemags they've had for awhile.

It still has the same frame that covers the barrel but yeah, it's not fugly like longer barreled super redhawks.
You need to get into reloading if you shoot 44 mag. I reload full power JSP for around 30 cents a round and LSWC plinking ammo for around 20 cents. It would be even less if I cast my own.

Interdasting. I have family on the big island and visit them once every couple years. Always fukin raining.
There is a bill that will redefine the definition of all pistols as shotguns and in turn making them SBSs which will then make them all illegal. Motherfukers.
Glock 23 and 26 master race checking in. Want a Glock .45. Wish they made one in compact. I'll probably get the 21 so I have a different size in the models.Misc Firearms Crew

Yeah, and weak 10mm probably describes 95% of what is out there for sale.
And you will probably find 100x more .45 ACP than you will 10mm out there for sale, looking at the big picture.
10mm is a niche cartridge and always will be. It will never be a major player like .45 ACP

there is hot 10mm out there (hpr, winchester silvertip, underwood, corbon, etc.) and it is about equally uncommon as weak 10mm (remington, federal, prvi, hornady)
seeing as the cost is similar why not just go for the 10mm unless you absolutely cannot order ammo onlinepr's:

I want something that's more available and it's one of the three main calibers.
Is the 36 smaller than a 26 or 27? I'm ignorant on .45 sizes so I was just going off the Glock charts and comparing them to the other two I have. I just need to go to my LGS and fondle them. If the 30 is about the size of a 19/23 I'd be happy with that, I just figured it was the same as the 26 and 27 based on the chart.
Why I want one in .45.
It's not on the chart? How does it compare to a 23 or 26?
How's it compare to a 23 or 26 (or other models those sizes)?Misc Firearms Crew

A lot. 44 mag brass is tough stuff. I bought 500 pieces of once fired for $50 and am halfway through reloading them for the 5th time (I think). I inspect every one of them before I put it on the press and they have no signs of wear. Its common for people to get 10-15 full house loads out of 44 mag brass. Then you can trim them down and make them into 44 special and reload them till they wont hold a primer or get a neck split.

You could stand to do a little more research on this topic, and learn a little more about the cartridge, before trying to tell us how it is. Hint: Silver Tips aren't particularly hot, and listing them in the same line as Underwood is pretty funny.
The cost is not similar, .45 ACP is less.
.45 ACP is FAR more available.
The premium defensive rounds that are street and time PROVEN to work in the real world are available in .45 ACP as it is a service cartridge (Speer Gold Dot, Federal HST, Winchester Ranger, Remington Golden Sabre, and more and more)
If you want your first gun to be a 10mm, go for it! It might be just right for you.
But, for many/most people, it isn't. Hence the popularity of .38 spl, .357 magnum, 9x19, .40 S&W, and .45 ACP. Those are the workhorses.

Each island is different. Kauai is the rainiest place on Earth.
PSA upper with Aimpoint PRO came in today. Personal Defense Weapon #1 is pretty much finished. UPS guy asked if it was a rifle, since he saw it was from an armory.
Horrible. Big5 gets a few boxes each week that sellout within 20min and LGS never get anything. And pretty much zero ARs at LGS in town. 30min south has a lot of high priced ARs and 556 at $1 cpr.Voluntarism Crew

Most of the 10mm Underwood I'm looking at, on Udnerwood's site, is listing 775 lbs
775 > 649. By over 19%

What other calibers do you own? If you get a 10mm as your only handgun, you will quickly regret it. And basing long term ammo prices and availability on the current market is a misguided approach IMO. Regular ammo will go back to normal but 10mm will always be more expensive and harder to find.

I learned this the hard way. Back in late 2008 I made my second Glock a G20. I later sold it, and the ammo, and got my G19. I am happy with that decision. So happy, in fact, that in 2011 when I got a full size Glock I made it a .45. (although I tried a G30SF first, it had problems, so I exchanged it for the G21SF with Glock)

Want a handgun that can hold more than 7-8rds but small enough to conceal. No glocks. Must be in .40. Might have to start looking at XD's.
