OP why not buy something like this for like $5 from your local dollar store and instantly quadrupole your soil space?

actually probably will soon so i can more easily manage my stuff. it's hard to manage all these cups lol but i do have those little art boxes that are like 1x2 feet and it's alright.

1 lettuce seed if it sprouts will usually yield up to around 4 leaves that will grow big. the original seed leaves will stay small and only help to start the plant off. and if you notice i sowed around 20-30 seeds per cup which is probably too much but itll keep growing. i can pick off leaves and they might grow more leaves. the plants under the main canopy will also start to grow as i thin it out some more

i can eat it pretty soon, right now if i wanted to but im going to let it grow more.

I lold at using foil to reflex light. It's horrible for reflexing light and causes hot spots. Use Mylar or white paint.

But it is a fun hobby. I think I'll throw some seed in the ground this year. The little ones love pumpkins.

to each their own. i find indoor gardening a fun hobby to do on the side. doesn't take much time out of my day and it affects me in no way. not my fault i find this interesting.

yeah brah i'd love to live in cali. people there are so much more chill and it's just a better place to be than tennessee. don't like the people here at all and i just love how california is much more liberal on basically everything. it's so annoying down here living in the bible belt.

the weather is also so much better. memphis has awful weather that gets up to 110 degrees with lots of humidity in the summer and so far it's been cold as fuark and it's april

I know exactly what you're talking about. I had little indoor gardens for 10 years in Georgia and Florida before I moved out here. The weather's awesome here. I can buy stuff at the hydro shops without worrying about cops breaking into my house. I can even grow my favorite plant (in small numbers) as long as I have a doctor's recommendation.

Nice system. Did you buy that or make it yourself? I need to look into aeroponics. I just started some outdoor tomato plants, half in the ground and half in big pots with organic soil. I know exactly what I'm doing with organic soil, but aeroponics / hydroponics seems less labor intensive.

i moved my set up into the closet to allow for more light capture. added 2 more 6400k bulbs and im shining 2 bulbs directly on a cucumber seedling. gonna grow it huge
