My thoughts? Government with the Government have always been providing data about UFO's/Alien's. They're not just going to straight up tell the whole public which will create chaos. Look at NASA for example. They're always showing videos of unidentified flying objects flying around and breaking the laws of physics.

Those that wants to find the truth, the information is out there.
Those that wants to remain a sheep will continue to sheep.

This way, no one is committing suicide.
