Hey Guys
Well, I feel pretty lethargic most of the time and have been told on many an occasion I tend to move in slow motion compared to most people...especially when walking places. I have been training for a while and have found whilst I bulk well, I have real difficulty cutting. Even though I get hungry like most people, even on low calorie intakes with a good output of excercise (I train a 5 day split with light intensity cardio thrown in three times a week), I can't shift weight.
Well, I went to the doctor who did an ecg and low and behold I have a resting heart rate of 35 bpm, drops prob sub 30 when sleeping. Which I have been told is pretty bloody low. Explains why I tend to feel lethargic a lot of the time, turns out I have a slow metabolism as well. So I'm awaiting the results of the blood tests to figure out what's with the low heart rate.
They reckon I might just be born with a hella strong and efficient heart. Will be interdasting to get the results back.
Anybody else living with a super slow heart?
On a funny note, the nurse got impatient because my blood pumped out so slowly when they were doing the blood test. Was awkward.

Hi dyuv001,
what you have just explained is excactly what I am experiencing right now!.. I found out about 4 months ago now about my heart rate as my sister just randomly took it one day and noticed it was 38bpm.. i didnt think much of it until my aunty who is a nurse was like (holly ****) thats too low.. so then i went and saw doctors and specialists about it who also said it was abnormal.. mine is around 34bpm resting and during sleep gets as low as 32.... I also find it hard to cut when I do everything right from weight training, macro counting and cardio... How did u find out you had a slow metabolism?.. I had an ecg, ultra sound, thyroid and blood tests done to finally get the result of that im OK with an abnormally big healthy heart.. bout you?? anything familiar?
Tim
