    pullups on off SL5x5 off days

    If i do a Stronglifts 5x5 workout A which is squat, bench and row, and workout B which is squat, OHP, and dead. Can i do something like this?

    Monday: workout A
    Tuesday: 1 set of hammer pulls to failure
    Wednesday: workout B
    Thursday: 1 set hammer pulls to failure
    Friday: workout A

    Will this cause me to over train? And dont neg/OP is a ******* because he is trying to add hypertrophy workouts. Im not trying to add hypertrophy, hence one set, i just fuarking LOVE pullups. I feel like a beast doing them.

    Yeah you could do that, but in the future going to failure may effect all your pulling exercises like the deadlift and pendlay rows.
    You could do something where on your 2x bench week do pull ups to failure, and on your 2x deadlift week do weighted dips.

    i don't even know what hammer pulls are but pull ups on off days probably won't hurt that much
