I'm a newbie with all this. Is beef protein now a proven protein shake? or would I be better with soy? Whey isn't an option, due to an egg allergy.
I read a few reviews regards the beef protein, but they were from a few years back, and a few folk seemed uncertain.
Also, how much more protein and calories are in a 100ml serving? I understand beef will no doubt have more, but how much?
As I said, total newbie. Any help's appreciated. Cheers.

many protein blends do, but there are plenty of products that don't...whey is sourced from milk...just look at the labels of different products and make sure there's no egg sources, like albumen...if you're concerned and don't really trust yourself to read the label and want to play it safe, you can look at things like 100% whey isolate products like Allmax Isoflex or Species Isolyze, but there's lots of egg free protein options that aren't soy or beef

Damn you're tool! And a hypocrite, might I add. You're this guy that goes on every thread to post "protein is protein is protein is protein..." "...in the context of a high protein diet"
Do you even listen to yourself? By the way, thanks for the neg. Negged your right back. Have an awesome night.LOL at these ****gs with no forearms, calves, and neck (not traps, but neck, two distinct muscles).

yeah just saw that haha... that's what happens when you skim through the reading. I think maybe 8?
yeah, i was referring the idea that whey is derived from milk. Since that being the case, i thought it would be just fine. But yes watch out for the labels that say they were manufactured in a facility that contains egg, nuts, monkeys, etc. in your case eggs.
Hating that i smoke weed? Let me guess, one you have no idea what marijuana does for me personally and two you think it's bad because you haven't done your research. Remember it's just a guess so don't go ape shiz. Anwyays your turnInstagram: WeedFitness

2 posts of exactly the same thing. Dang the "fat boy," as you so aptly put it in your neg, must have rustled the jimmy of the 161 lb mass machine known as beastmode47.
Protein is protein in the context of a high protein diet. Just because the FDA lets a company use collagen as a protein source doesn't make it a protein source. I'd even suggest your overpriced hydrowhey that you can't stop talking about over Carnivor.

161lb of a shredded physique. I'll take that over what you have any day, amigo. Going from 188lb to 161lb is a big achievement for me so keep it coming. I can turn into 209 lbs if I want to easily, but I know that, just like you, it'll be a higher amount of fat to muscle ratio. Soooo... no thanks buddy.
Also, collagen is protein. BA value is low but it's still protein. Stop trying to defend your inconsistency. I can discourage collagen, since I'm a firm believe of BA values, but you on the other hand, is a spokesperson for "protein is protein is protein is protein in the context of a high protein diet". So stop with the BS.
By the way, I find it hard to believe that you're 12%. I'm approximately 15% and there is a drastic difference when it comes to your level of shred versus mine. Also, you're probably a noob when it comes to lifting for the purpose of getting sculpted, but mass isn't everything. If a significant amount of your mass is coming from fat, you're nothing special. Pound for pound, you're worthless if you're a hulking fatty of 200lbs, with some muscles.Last edited by beastmode47; 03-25-2013 at 07:39 AM.

Really? Sounds like an excuse to me. Look if you get off enjoying my year old pics, then keep it up. More power to you. You opened the door. If you don't like criticism of your tiny size then perhaps you should not make comments.
It isn't BS, but if you want to take, "Protein is protein in the context of a high protein diet," to an extreme and include collagen, good luck with your goals. Seriously though, you're putting words in my fingers. I never said BV of protein was bad. My point of view is that when you're eating crap tons of protein (especially like us bigger kids ) BV means very little since you're body has more than enough protein to work with and the amino acids that your body breaks that protein down to.
Once again, year old pics are a year old. You have your goals tiny and I have mine. Pound for pound, the internet toughguy Beastmode47 has spoken I guess. Next time, you should steal your nickname from a guy that is tiny like you and not 5'11", 215. He must have a ton of fat.
Since your jimmy has been super rustled, I suggest you take a break from the interwebz and go enjoy your hydrowhey because the amazing BV is making huge differences for you.

And no pictures to prove anything. I'll enjoy my tiny size and you enjoy your fat size. Underlying fat is sure a cheap way to appear bigger. Only noobs and rookies will be impressed by that. Protein is protein is protein. Looking at your pics, not really surprised. At least you're not taking collagen protein. Still surprised your mentality of protein is protein is protein didn't extend its arms to collagen protein.

/Yawn.
You really are butthurt aren't you little guy? Collagen is collagen. Just because you took things out of context and too an extreme isn't my problem. You enjoy your tiny size, but still feel the need to crap on people with different goals, got it. I still think Napoleon needs an internet break.
FYI, just because I say that Carnivor is crap because it's made of collagen and overpriced for you you get, doesn't mean that in the context of a high protein diet that Carnivor or your magic hydrowhey are going to have any different effects. I'm not going to waste money on either.Last edited by lucia316; 03-25-2013 at 11:48 AM.

Haha you're the most ignorant person ever. No health benefits from marijuana? really? Ever heard of THC, CBD, CBN, etc? Smoking, combustion, is bad whether it be cigarettes or marijuana.
http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16804518
“We found that cannabidiol completely prevented the onset of the neuropathic, or nerve pain caused by the chemo drug Paclitaxel, which is used to treat breast cancer,” said (Sarah Jane) Ward, who is also a research associate professor in Temple’s Center for Substance Abuse Research.
Ward became interested in this current study after attending a conference in which she learned about a pain state that is induced by chemo-therapeutic agents, especially those used to treat breast cancer, which can produce really debilitating neuropathic pain.
Cannabidiol has also demonstrated the ability to decrease tumor activity in animal models, said Ward, which could make it an effective therapeutic for breast cancer, especially if you “combined it with a chemo agent like Paclitaxel, which we already know works well.”
"According to Ward, there are currently about 10 clinical trials underway in the United States for cannabidiol on a range of different disorders, including cannabis dependence, eating disorders and schizophrenia. Because of this, she believes it will be easier to establish a clinical trial for cannabidiol as a therapeutic against neuropathic pain associated with chemo drugs."

Please, this is just about CBD. I use it for neuropathic pain, aka neuropathy from my type 1 diabetes. Increased heart rate = increase blood flow. Of course i exercise but i can't be doing cardio 24/7. Anyways good luck with your ignorant attitude loser.Instagram: WeedFitness

^OK, pothead. I can also find studies that show the long-term negative effects of being a pothead. Wish you success in life. Most drug addicts don't have much chance at that but hopefully you'll be a rare case.
