Can anyone give me a link that shows the correct technique for performing face pulls?
Many thanks!

you can't really do any serious weight standing like that. It will pull you foward.Last edited by ExtremistPullup; 08-20-2006 at 12:03 PM.

I do facepulls all the time. It's really a rear delt exercise. I rarely work my traps, but love working rear delts.

I stand with one leg way out back and one in front and lean way back then pull. I haven't had problems and I use about 120 for them. Row station ones do work the same though, but the leverage of heavy weight pulled to the face can cause lower back soreness. I prefer them standing because I can keep my back neutral.
You don't need a lot of weight because you shouldn't be relying on your lats to move it. Focus on the rear delts.oh and gecko that link did not contain answers only the search page - swiftness_02

-lean back slightly with one foot back if you can't stabilize your upper body
-higher reps work best for me (12-15+)
