PLEASE READ THROUGH THIS ENTIRE THREAD THOROUGHLY, ESPECIALLY THE SUBMISSION RULES SECTION (I'M SERIOUS!) THANKS!
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Welcome everyone to the 5th installment of the Fat Loss competition. I've decided to do something a little different this time around. We are going to be having a TEAM vs TEAM based competition alongside the individual competition. This means that after all the submissions are in by the final due date, I will be dividing you up amongst two teams. Not only will you be battling for the top place individually, you will also be part of a team that will be fighting against the other team.
Anyone is welcome to join. This competition is based off of the honor system and submissions are at your honorable discretion.
[RULES]
- Please submit by March 31st at 11:59pm. This means that any submissions on April 1st at 00:01 am will be ignored. NO EXCEPTIONS.
- DEADLINE FOR ENTRY IS 11:59 p.m. on March 31st. I will not be accepting late entrants. PLEASE ENTER ON TIME! (YES I REPEATED MYSELF)
- THERE ARE NO PICTURE REQUIREMENTS.
- THERE ARE NO BODY FAT PERCENTAGE REQUIREMENTS. (Do not submit BF % please. Thanks. Seriously, don't waste your time.)
[HOW TO ENTER]
Simply send me a private message with your name, current weight and "TEAM FAT LOSS COMP" in the SUBJECT LINE ONLY. You may put whatever you like in the body but I will not read it. If you do not follow these simple rules, I will simply ignore your PM. (The proper format can be found below in the How to submit weigh in section)
[HOW TO SUBMIT WEIGH-INs]
This is the template I have setup for you to submit to me via the SUBJECT line:
[your_name] - [xxx] - TEAM FATLOSS COMP[2013]
Where:
[your_name] = your forum user name;
[xxx] = your current weight
*TEAM FATLOSS COMP = (put this at the end so I know this PM is related to this competition PLEASE ! THANKS!)
- If you do not submit to me in this format, I will simply ignore your PM.
- Please use this method to submit your initial weigh in also.
[WHEN TO SUBMIT WEIGH-INS]
All weigh-ins should be submitted to me at anytime on Sundays. This means you will be sending me a PM every SUNDAY at ANY time with your new weight in the subject. (once a week).
[HOW YOU CAN GET DROPPED PERMANENTLY]
With the flood of new members who come to the forums with great intentions of joining a competition, there are usually a lot of people who start off with great intentions but give up before they even get stared. It's human nature, and I can understand that. However, for myself, adding/deleting people nonstop becomes tedious. I'm doing this for free, and while I enjoy it, I try to streamline it as best as possible.
With that said, if you miss the first weeks submission after the initial entry, you will be dropped. PERMANENTLY. If you don't submit on the first week, you are just telling me that you don't care. Sorry but there is no exceptions. MAKE YOUR FIRST SUBMISSION!
[SPREADSHEET]
Spreadsheet will normally be updated sometime on Sunday evening, Monday morning.
Below is the link in which you can use to monitor your progress and see how you stack against other competitors.

COMPETITION INFO
Each week I will make a post in the thread with an update of the leaderboard, current news about the competition and anything else that seems pertinent to the discussion.
TEAM vs TEAM
So this is something that I decided would make the competition a little more interesting. I was going to divide it up into like 4 or 8 teams but I thought that will be way to much work for me, so I decided to divide it into two teams. Each team will be color coded. There will be a leaderboard stat sheet for the teams as well (right below the individual stats on the spreadsheet). I will divide the teams up as evenly as possible. However, one thing I cannot prevent is people dropping out, so I will have to balance teams out as we go on. I think after the first few weeks it should steady out, and from there, I won't make any adjustments. It will be the teams responsibility to keep each other actively involved from dropping out.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Good luck to you all. We have a very low retention rate. So far, over the last four competitions the retention rate has been between 5% and 25% of the total entrants. Our last competition had 176 initial entrants, and only 45 remained. Do the math.
