Hate, hate, hate leg day...well weighted lunges to be more precise
But love the feeling afterwards, can't beat leaving the gym feeling exhausted :-)

^_^ Friday is my favorite day of the week purely because it's my designated "squat" day.
I set a new PR today (125 lbs/6 reps) AND I'm now only 10 lbs shy from my first goal (squat 135 - I want to use the big girl plates!) but I am so excited!
My glutes will be crying when I have to go up two flights of stairs, but in the best kind of way.I have a vagina so its not my fault I'm a pussy.
There's always room for one more blade, there's always strength for one last breath.

I now usually have a hard time sitting...and doing anything...longer i sit it hurts..longer i stand it hurts..im screwed either way lol

Did some mountain/rock climbing a few weeks ago, and I couldn't walk right for at least 3 days afterward. Loved it, except that I also lost the nails off of both my big toes. You win some, you lose some.

We recently moved into a cool older home and the gentleman who lived here prior was nearly 90. Besides some groovy shag carpet, there are handicap grab bars in every bathroom. During renovation, every time my hubby or I would be Day After Legs, we would think...maybe we leave these grab bars!Originally Posted by KCBiggs

Friday nights is my dedicated heavy leg night. Mainly because the gym is empty (well actually just the leg area because all the guys are working arms and chest getting ready for a night out lol)
I love waking up on Saturday and not being able to walk.
Only thing i don't like is that my gym is upstairs. Means i'm holding that handrail very tight after my sessions so i dont go tumbling!♫♪♫♪ Down and out with my dumb friends, ready to misbehave ♫♪♫♪
Forget about Monday to Friday, 'cause I've been working like a slave
Creepin' towards the weekend, ready and able to shine
Bringing me down to the deep end, back off, back off!

I hate hate hate leg day while I'm doing it...but I love when I wake up the morning after and say "ow" as I get out of bed. I immediately run to the mirror and see if my butt looks any rounder. LOL
