Never said I totally agree with what he did. Fact is, he played a stupid game, also, and is now facing the penalty. He never should have fired again after they were both downed, and he DEFINITELY should have called the 5-0 IMMEDIATELY, not the next day.

That said, homeowner went a little too far.

Whether or not the home owner "went too far", that's the risk you take when you decide it's acceptable to rob people. Usually you'll get someone you can victimize and walk away totally free, and sometimes you pick a gun toting psycho.
