The Cliffs:
- Teens repeatedly break into homeowners residence over a few week period, stole $10,000 of guns and electronics.
- Home owner sitting in basement on thanksgiving
- Teens break in, and go down to homeowners basement
- Homeowner has gun and is waiting
- Homeowner shoots them as they come down the stairs
- Drags their bodies onto a tarp and calls police the next day.

When Kifer (the girl) began walking down the stairs, he shot her and she fell down the stairs.

He tried to shoot her again with his rifle, but the gun jammed and Kifer laughed at him, the complaint noted.

'If you're trying to shoot somebody and they laugh at you, you go again,' Smith, 64, told investigators, according to a criminal complaint filed Monday.

He then shot her several times in the chest with a .22-caliber revolver, dragged her next to her cousin, and with as she gasped for air, fired a shot under her chin 'up into the cranium'.

'Smith described it as "a good clean finishing shot",' according to the compliant, and acknowledged he had fired 'more shots than (he) needed to'.

Wasn't this posted a long time ago? The guy who shot them, and dragged their bodies together and shot them again? In that case he deserves to go to jail. What a sic* dude, shoots her again because she "laughed" at him after he shot her and she fell down.

While I say to the teens "what the fk did you expect to happen after REPEATEDLY breaking in the dudes home?", I don't believe they should've died that I think that the home owner went too far as to keep shooting even after the threat was neutralized and waaaaaaaaaaay to far when he executed the girl.

lol this. If you shoot them and incapacitate them, that doesn't mean you can do whatever the hell you want to them now just because they broke into your home. If this is the right case I believe he drags the bodies together, waits a bit and then executes them. That's pretty fu*ked up. I mean I would shoot an intruder, but I wouldn't drag their body while they are down and execute them.

Doubt it. Dumbass teens were probably trying to steal his prescriptions and he was fed up with his previous thefts. I imagine if someone stole $10,000 worth of guns and electronics from your home, you will be a little on edge.

Kids probably acted psycho since they were on drugs.

Lol I was thinking the same thing

Pictures don't add up

goes from two good looking teenagers to a scary psycho looking old man

+ executing a girl by sticking a gun under her chin/head after she was shot 6 times and finishing her next to her dead cousin

+ dragging the dead bodies leaving them until the next day

No normal person does this type of thing intruder or not, you shoot to kill if they are laying on the floor like a dead animal you call the cops, you don't drag them to their dead partner, finish them off and let them rot for several hours
