I hate to say it but I think it depends on the point he is making.
If he is mocking pledging allegiance to a flag and country that exists to provide amnesty to illegals, obama phones, drone strikes against U.S. citizens, giving billions to Pakistan....while at the same time letting things like tuition assistance to our military troops expire...then yeah, he might have a point.
I like to say we're all gonna make it brahs...but I don't know anymore.

Illegals pay state taxes (property taxes and sales tax), so it makes sense that they qualify for instate tuition after being here a certain amount of time just like any other resident of the state(if you believe in the state funding such things for anyone, we should have equality under the law - one of the basic tenets of a free society). Agreed with the rest of what you say though.
However - I don't think military people need tuition assistance. They need to manage their money better. I've had family in the military and I hear they get paid pretty darn well. My brother's gf has a little sister who got something like a 75k sign-on bonus. That's more than enough for college in one lump-sum. She could basically stick it in the bank or a mutual fund and draw funds out to pay for each semester if she wanted to.

I don't think it is. Why should I be made to even say the pledge? Why should kids be shamed by adults for not saying it? Why should they be shamed at all? It's an oath to the government. It's a pledge of ALLEGIANCE....in other words, you're making a blind promise to fight for the government, regardless of what the government does or what reasons it has for going to war (which, btw, are usually stupid and don't protect our freedoms).
Simply the fact that it's a *blind promise* makes it stupid in principle.
edit - illustration via an extreme, but very possible, example: suppose the gov goes "hey you wanna fight terrorists?" You go "yeah" then the gov holds you to that "Ok, you gotta help us lock up your dad in Guantanamo Bay for life without telling him what crime(s) he's charged of cus hes *suspected* of terrorism"

Idiot need to realize that there are hundreds of millions, if not billions around the world who would love to trade citizenships with him. He probably watches these foreign propaganda films about how great it is in places like North Korea and how terrible it is here in the US and having a low IQ, he believes it. The fact that he can slander our POA and still remain free, but he doesn't realize the significance of this, speaks volumes.
People don't know what they have until they have lost it. Those who have never been without take things for granted. They have no idea of the blood that was shed and the sacrifice of previous generations. The way people are willing to give up their freedoms for securities tells you a lot about people's mentalities. Even you Brits and Aussies, you don't have the freedoms you do now just because they gave them to you, it's because the monarchs knew if they didn't give them to you, you would take them, much how the US did. I do believe that the US Revolution was a serious wake up call.
Notice the reds being red. I would neg you three but you guys are already leaking red like saturated tampons.

Freedom of speech goes both ways
Call him out on being an attention whore. Dont insinuate he cant say what he is saying. Just tell him he is a douche. Ive seen these people before. Hes an attention whore but once you actually give him some hes going to get red in the face and trip over his words when he tries to retort. Make him feel uncomfortable
