You look like a hard gainer too me. I would bump my calories to 500 calories over maintenance and then raise by 100 calories until your gaining about a 1 every two weeks. But if you're a hard gainer I would go bigger than 500 maybe like 750 and slowly raise from there until you are gaining weight at the rate at which you want to. As long as your lifts are going up weekly (or biweekly) I wouldn't worry about it to much personally. But that's just me.
Sorry if my answer was a little vague."I may not be there yet, but I'm closer than i was yesterday"

I've met people who can put muscle on a hell of a lot easier than others. Some people have more trouble putting muscle on than others, but that doesn't mean he wouldn't be able to cut down a hell of a lot easier with what I "assume" is a pretty damn fast metabolism. Some people have trouble gaining mass, while others have trouble losing it (myself). OP looks like he's been here long enough not to get discourage by one forum poster...

I agree, anyone can put on muscle if done the right way, but some will just put it on faster than others, or in different places. Could come down to the size of frame you have, metabolism, or your hormonal levels. If we were all genetically equal than the same diets and workouts would be cooky cutter perfect for everyone, but one of the biggest principals of bodybuilding is that everyone is different and no one thing will work for everybody.
