19 year old and Low Testosterone levels? Please help.

Hello everyone. I am new to this forum. I joined this because recently i went for some tests;namely HIV,Semen analysis and Hormone tests.
My HIV test was negative and Semen analysis was normal too; But my hormone test is a disaster! That is the main reason why i have joined this website;my friend recommended this.

So here's the deal..MY Testosterone level is- 461.5 ng/dl. The normal range is said to be 300-1000 ng/dl. But for my age the average Testosterone range is said to be over 700 ng/dl
My free testosterone level is- 35.55 pg/ml
My DHEA sulphate Level is 243 μg/dl the normal range is 70.2-492 for men my age. so considering that, even my DHEA levels are low.

My Estradiol levels came out to be pretty high- 26.74 pg/ml; and my Progesterone levels were 0.41 ng/ml.

I am really worried. Can someone please help me out?!!

Sorry OP, you're becoming a woman. Might as well embrace it now while your young and invest in some training bras

Negative sides of low test are lethargy, depression, low libido etc if you're not feeling these effects (which you probably aren't since your test is in the range) then you're test level is fine.

Everything you just said states that you are in the normal acceptable range. Also if you're posting this because you think you are a "hard gainer" you simply need to eat, eat lots and of healthy choices. 156lbs @ 5"11, Testosterone is not really anything to be worried about considering you are "NORMAL!" Lifting eating healthy in a surplus of calories will help increase testosterone slightly.

Also it sounds like you have a slight case of hypocondria. Maybe you need to see a psychologist.

Depression and lethargia go hand in hand together. Depression decreases natural testosterone. Like I said you may need to talk to someone to sort out other issues that are going on?

^ this. Zinc aids in test production. Look at your nails and see if you have little white spots in them, that's a sign of low zinc.

I can give a brief outlook on my condition. I was all fine till i was 15 years old. I had started growing facial hair,my voice deepened (implying my test levels started increasing) It was all fine till i was 16;after i completed my 16th birthday,We changed our residence. the new place is highly polluted(especially with diesel and CNG exhaust) I stopped playing sports or any sort of workouts and then I started eating a lot of crap food. i became addicted to the computer and i used to spend 7-8 hours non-stop in front of my computer(i read that the Computer monitor emits electromagnetic waves which increase estrogen and reduce testosterone). So maybe 3 years of this bull*** lifestyle is the cause of my current situation.

My friend adviced me to start doing aerobic exercises and start working out as this seems to increase testosterone? Is this true? I really want to improve now. I'm getting a gym membership asap.

Your depression is not because of low test. You moved to a new area and stopped lifting/sports, started eating chit food and spent 7-8 hours a day on the computer. Do you think that you would be depressed/lethargic if you made friends, ate good food, played sports like you used to, became swole? Probably not. Your problem isn't your testosterone, change your life style and become a happier person. Honestly you would pull more bishes too, they mainly care about how popular you are and that would come with sports/ being swole.

It must be normal; But check out the testosterone level charts; It says that guys upto the age of 25 should have Total Testosterone of over 700 ng/gl and at least over 600 ng/dl.

Your doctor said you're fine. Soooo you go ask a bunch of people online. Makes sense. Go see a neurologist because you obviously have something wrong with your brain also.

Never did i once imply that my doctor said it was normal. My doc told me that it was low for a guy of my age. He told me that i should be over 600 ng/dl at 19 years of age.

I think "Low" doesn't imply impossible to work with. 19 is pretty young, but if it was that awful I'm sure he would have offered you a way to increase testosterone production.

I'm pretty sure if you're still getting morning wood you'll be fine, in terms of lifting. When that goes away you want to start worrying.

You'd be surprised by how little those ranges actually change. A lot of guys with low test who go onto treatment for it assume they'll become superman but in reality they just feel a bit happier. Heh.

In reality, if your doctor was concerned. He would prescribe you something or forward you on to a specialist. When I mean specialist I don't mean people on bodybuilding.com, schedule that neurologist appointment.

The doc told me that though my test levels are below average,i still don't need any medication(testosterone). He said that giving medications at such a young age might be dangerous. He told me to increase testosterone levels by natural means. So i came on this website to know what are the natural means to improve testosterone levels and reduce estradiol?? Any special diet? should i get a gym membership? I came here to ask things like that.
I though there might be fellow people who have/had thing problem in the past. and got it fixed.

Let me help you unlike anyone else here.

testosterone is meant to make males aggressive/dominant/athletic and **** right? If you want to DIRECTLY increase testosterone you have to do explosive exercises. Explosive meaning powerful/fast and stuff. Stuff like punching fast, jumping up and down fast, or sprinting the ultimate explosive movement. Do sprinting intervals regularly. Studies show sprinting can increase testosterone by 30% right after doing it.

Next you want to worry about your diet and life style. Eat eggs, eat nuts, eat fish or take fish oil, eat green vegetables. Also milk has hormones and ingredients in it that are bad for testosterone, try to avoid dairy unless you live in Canada like me (I still avoid dairy). Remember if you get the right type of organic dairy it can actually help your testosterone levels such as organic yogurt I think. Also avoid sugar at all costs, maybe you can have a little after your workout but try to get as little sugar as possible it decreases testosterone temporarily. Start sleeping more too and reduce the stress in your life.

So basically starting 2morrow. Sprinting intervals, green veggies, fish, no sugar, eggs, get a lot of sleep, reduce stress (meditation), avoid dairy unless you know, and yeah your test will rise significantly in a few months time.

EDIT I forgot nuts, eat nuts man like peanuts, almonds, and ****
    You only lift once

What the hell is this supposed to mean?
My Dihydrotestosterone levels came out to be 1174 pg/ml
And Androstenedione levels came out to be 148 ng/dl

It says My DHT Levels are high. but how is that possible? isn't testosterone responsible for DHT? I though low test implies low DHT.

I don't see how having test levels the same as a healthy man can be dangerous even though you're on TRT..

If you really care jump on TRT and you will feel like a million bucks..

you just said your doctor said it within normal range of a man..not every 19 year old is going to have sky high test level...its an average just like most kids are above 5'8'' but theres still thoes kids that are 5'3'' or smaller...its an average doesnt mean everyones going to be the same..change your life around stop eat **** foods and stop sitting in front of the computer screen...start some where and then maybe your test levels will increases..stop making excuses and just go out there and make a change..sitting on a forum and complaining isnt going to help...get a testosterone booster if your really that scared..this is meant to motivate yourself not demotivate..
