This is on my to buy list......it is soo dark that it will throw you off at first and its not like any other cologne you smelled before......first you get a really dry Cypress with a vetiver undertone then after a couple hours a nice green earthy Vetiver comes through.....it very linear but last all day and projects. definitely worth checking out but you gotta sample it a couple time to truly like it......and when you do you will want to buy it

well i tested it on my skin:
OPENING:
Kinda liked it. Defintely dark, but doesn't seem as dark as people make it out. I think that's because I'm confusing dark with mysterious (ambre nuit is mysterious). I get a tiny bit of powder, but it's not bad. It adds to the scent in a good way.
MIDDLE:
Do not want anymore Vetiver appears to be a note that I don't like. I've never smelled it in isolation, so I don't know exactly what it smells like, but I know the middle of this is dominated by it.
Haven't gotten to the drydown yet. I think cypress is a note that I like, but I've never smelled that alone before either so not sure. I liked the opening to this, and I liked italian cypress by Tom Ford so I think i'll look into more cypress frags.
and Xerbia i cant read that BN thread. I'm cringing srs, it's like watching someone really awkward and nervous go up to a hot intimidating girl srs. tuscan leather being chocolatey.... rochas man being fruity...
LOLLLLLL genius

Sel Marin is some nice stuff. Really captures the marine scent in the best way possible.Misc Cologne Crew

SOTD: VIW. Bought 10 ml from TP and this is the first time wearing it. I like this, I definitely get the coconut suntan lotion comparison but this is definitely a Creed. 4 hours later it's as if I never sprayed it lol.

Screwball: repping you when off spread for sure. I love your info-posts ITT. The cuba list one, the upcoming releases one, and this Bronze Goddess one are all great posts.
Welcome to splits HouseBro, your possible cologne game just got exponentially more badass
Also today is my first full wear of Allure Homme Edition Blanche. Love at first sniff! So ranking my spring/summer lineup by how much I like them:
1. Aventus/AHEB <<<Toss-up between these two
3. Eight and Bob <<Love the smell & longevity, just wish it had more projection
4. VIW
5. Lacoste Blanc
6. La Nuit <<<Only for date nights if it is going to cool down
7. St. Barts << Probably the first 100ml bottle I will have fully used
8. Bulgari Aqua
9. Love & luck << Going to raise the willpower to stay out of the upcoming MI split, so this is my poverty solution. Not a huge fan though.
10. Nautica Oceans << Days when IDGAF, gym, at the lake, etc.S&P

SOTD: Royal Oud
I wanted to see if I oud didn't sit well with me, seeing as Dark Aoud was a scrubber; the first 10 seconds of Royal Oud was donotwant.jpg, but every second after has definitely been very nice. The oud is not too strong, the citrus and wood are what really present themselves in the top notes. Strangely, it's the most masculine frag I've tried thus far, though I'm sure that's soon to change. Can't really comment on the sillage or projection, seeing as I only applied ~1/4ml since I was unsure about the opening, I'll definitely have to come back to this one in the future and use a bit more.
