Does anyone here have any studies showing ZMA is safe?

Ok guys , I need your help on this one I know it's safe and I always research my products througougly before I try them.

It lies in the fact that my parents don't think it's safe... but I know the best way is too show them proof that it is.

My mom's response was after I said it's just vitamins and I explained to her what it did and what it was. " But too much zinc is not good for you." But I kinda got technical and into big words and I lost her and my Dad.

I'm going to show her Big Cat's article on ZMA and a few studies showing it's safe when used PROPERLY.

But I'd like to find out ( I know their out there) the links to the studies.

No , I'd rather do it this way , that way they will help pay for it when I'm low on money ( there pretty supportive of me lifting ) and I won't have to hide it.

I don't know of any research but tell them its like a Tri-vitamin, basically they're just minerals and junk.

by the way.....superoxide distmustase( which is talked about in the study)along with catalase are 2 enzymes that protect your body from ageing before its time.... they use oxygen to take away hydrogen from substrate molecules, which then helps to neutralize many potential toxic waste.... these two enzymes also have a couple more roles to play in the human body.....so keep this in mind when reading this first article on the importance of zinc supplimentation.

show this to your parents.... sure you could show them studies done on ZMA( go to the bb.com mainpage for zma they got some there).......... but i think its also important that your parents understand the function of all three ingredients in zma. hope i have helped

lol... yah he referred to me as str8 in another post as well...... if that doesnt convince them.... they can email me..... i will gladly explain more of the superoxide dismutaste and the catalase enzymes to them.........i can go into more detail about all three ingredients in ZMA and ZMA as a whole.... just let me know bro and im here for ya..... and i gotta respect that you arent going behind your parents backs either!

Anyway no you don't have to go out of you way for me now that I got them convinced it's safe... but it's great to have support from you like that along with many others that is why I like this board so much people are very helpful.

Anyway, sneaking is not only immoral and they are going to catch you after awhile, plus they trust me and trust has to be earned.

I can't fall asleep at all , I KNOW I do not get enough zinc, plus a boost up to where my testerone levels should be is something I need.

And don't say oh your test levels are already so high... I don't need that answer.

Besides since after all it's just b6, zinc , magnesium and asphrate just a bunch of vitamins after reading all those things joe posted I can only say of course it would be safe.

It is only a highly absorbable form of zinc, magnesium and vitamin b6 why wouldn't it be safe. Although you should not exceed 50mg of zinc per day (for someone like 160 lbs i'm not sure but i think that is the correct weight). But ZMA doesn't even have close to 50 mg. It is totally safe.
