    German volume training

Has anybody ever had decent results from gvt squats i tried them today for the first time if felt good i started light with 60sec rest intervals managed all 10x10 without to much pain tho:/ however will increase weight next time, just looking for some opinions of peoples experiance with this training method. Goals atm are to cut down my bf then when ive done that do a clean bulk.

I gave gvt ago a couple of months ago I gained a good bit of muscle and dropped a little body fat at the same time which was good the idea or theory behind gvt is that the continous stress of one exercise for a high volume will force growth or so I've heard just give it a go for a few weeks you wont get smaller from doing to just experiment with it

Boring as F@ck. JMO, but I couldn't take the monotony.

i took bits and pieces of it into my routine but never did the full GVT program.

for a while when i cycled off doing squats, i did leg press and single arm db rows GVT style (10 sets of 10) on leg and back days and really liked it. i did it for about 6 weeks. i got a little stronger and noticeably put on a little size (or just dropped some fat/revealing definition) as well.

The Russians had all of this figured out about 40 years before any other person, establishment or country ever had; the Germans copied it.

Depends on the version, but I seem to recall 60s for "smaller" lifts, and 90s+ for things like squats.

Deleted post you quoted, but you use 60 seconds for any standard exercise, and 90-120 for SuperSets. I doubt DB Rows really factor as supersets .

I love german volume training but excessive volume is hard on my shoulders so what I ended up doing was picking one exercise and doing it for 10x10. One of my favs was incline press to help build my upper chest, I had some decent results this way and Ive been doing it for about 4 months now.
    1RM
    Bench 355
    Squat 471
    Deads 635
    BB Curl 146
    Rows 285
    Press 202
