    Macros help

Now then lady's and gents. I've just calculated my daily intake of protien and carbs (approximately) and I've figured out that I'm getting too much protien (I'm 175 lbs and I'm getting around 208g). My question is, is too much protien detremental?

I've also discovered that my bad habits have led me to having too little carbs (about 60g somehow, unless I've made a miscalculation, ill get back to you on that). But I can just up my portions.

    Any help is much appreciated.

    Jony

As long as you consume 145 grams of protein and 80 grams of fat, the macronutrient composing of your remaining calories is simply a function of personal preference.

So even on a bulk, the carbohydrate intake doesn't need to be that high?

    It depends.

Some folks perform better on high carb intake, some with moderate intake, some with low intake.

So it wouldn't make much of a difference whether I boost them or not? To the results I mean.

I was double checking. Besides, I don't remember asking for your comments on my understanding of things that are said to me did I?
