First ever active participation on nofap.

Always been incredibly self-conscious and experience social anxiety. For a long time now I've been fapping practically every day, maybe one or two day breaks every week and a half or fortnight. Tobias has laid down the law and told me I'm illegible to be on his lists, even though I only knew this exception on Tuesday. Gents like you need to post more often, or at least keep up with the posts. This thread is full of examples of guys who have gone through periods with low-zero libido, and got it back just fine after an undetermined period.

If you relapse just to "test it", you'll relapse every time it happens as you'll put yourself under the false belief that in order to keep your libido you have to encourage it.

It's impossible to lose your libido indefinitely. It always comes back, sometimes even stronger than before.

I don't know the answer - I guess I would respond with "why do most people drink socially without any problems, but some people become alcoholics?". Maybe people with certain physical/genetic traits are more predisposed to let this addiction **** with their sex lives.

Well according to what the organization sexaholics anonymous says there is a certain percentage of the population that just can't handle lust. They liken it to people who can enjoy alcohol and it doesn't control their lives. An alcoholic can't handle any amount of alcohol and most can't break free from the addiction without serious help. Likewise I don't believe that everyone that has problems with porn and masturbation is a sex addict. For the average person the approach of just white knuckle abstaining can work.

For others they are not going to be able to break the addiction by pure will power alone. For a true sex addict giving up porn and masturbation is not going to solve their problem, they will simply transfer their addiction from porn and fapping to dangerous sexual situations. Also left alone a sex addict will progress regardless from porn and masturbation to harmful interactions. I had an exam today, walked in there prepared and confident.

Turns out the questions were harder than I expected them to be. I didnt perform as well as I hoped, making me feel like a dick for being overconfident when I shouldnt have. I have done just enough to pass.

This has made me depressed today, I went to the gym but my mind was just not with it. Felt weak and joints were sore as.
