Does anyone else think picky eaters are stupid as phuck? srs

I'm talking like they won't eat a pizza if it's supreme due to mushrooms, peppers, sausage etc. Strict pepperoni only. Always order the same bland sandwich never having tried another item on the menu. Looks at sushi rolls and says it's disgusting because of the condiments, but won't try a handroll. Knew some people like that and their self thought superiority to different types of foods really rustles me. They aren't allergic btw.

It has nothing to do with taste buds. It's closed-mindedness, ignorance, and unwillingness to try/experience new things.

Unless that person is allergic (truly allergic) if they aren't willing to try new foods, I judge extremely hard. Last time I turned down an unknown meal I hadn't hit puberty. Its ok to dislike food, unwilling to try new is pathetic.

maybe we're allergic to a ton of chit? i can eat maybe 5 things on the average fast food or restaurant menu (every time i go out for any sort of asian food with people i eat one thing...PLAIN STEAMED RICE). i have to ask for the ingredients every time i try something new. i STILL have panic attacks wondering if i am having an allergic reaction when i try a new food. i STILL worry about cross contamination EVERY.SINGLE.TIME. I eat. people always whine because i complain about, ask questions about, or inspect my food... but they, like you, don't know why i am the way that i am. if my food isn't perfect i WILL send it back because i can't take any chances. if they mess up one thing what's to say they didn't mess up another?

so please, tell me again why i shouldn't be a picky eater if it means not having panic attacks or risking a fatal allergic reaction?

Its one thing to get mad at overweight people because of the way that it can indirectly affect you (rising health care costs, for example) but picky eaters have 0 effect. So who cares? I personally can't stand cold slimy things on my sandwiches such as pickles, tomatoes, ect...

Well don't get so strangled on OP. Sometimes it gets annoying when someones says that they don't like it, but when I ask did you even tried it they are like "amm.. not really". So how they know they don't like it?? I guess they are too afraid of changes. Same goes when they claim that they did try it once a while ago and didn't like it, but when I "force" them to taste it they are like "ohh it's actually delicious..." People need to enjoy food more.

Doesn't eat vegetables, only likes a couple of fruit. Won't ever try anything exotic, hates sushi, and only sticks to the same foods everywhere we go. Burgers are just cheese and meat if he were to go to Five Guys. This man would be happy with chicken nuggets and fries for the rest of his life.
