Going for 800 tomorrow and wanted some opinions on maxing out? Particularly my set before 800.

I'm a weak ******* but I just like pulling singles. Since my max is ~630, I like to do:
405 x 1
455 x 1
500 x 1
545 x 1
585 x 1

100lbs x20
200lbs x10
300lbs x5
400lbs x3
500lbs x1
600lbs x1
700lbs x1
750lbs x1
800lbs x1
Are u doing this at a meet ? or u just want to test your max, cuz then the numbers would obv look diffirent for the 3rd and 2nd to last attempts.
Also, 760lbs DL and 1600lbs total ..... wait wutAthletics > Aesthetics
I guess its time to start training again.

im completely out of my element in terms of what you're pulling put personally I always liked the lift before my 1RM attempt to be a smaller jump than my second to last warmup. it gives me a better idea of whether or not i have a chance at the lift and if it feels weak, i wont even try maxing that day. might be something to consider esp with the #s your ripping up.
so in your case:
135xwhatever
blah
blah
585x1
675x1
750ishx1, what would you need like 2-3 of these for 8? feel this one out, if its a grinder I'd shut it down right there but thats JMO. if its feeling good..
800xVictory
good luck man, hope ya get it.

Lol at asking a bunch of people who deadlift half as much as you. I think most strong people's warmup is like plate, plate, plate, plate, plate, plate, plate...I think you get the point.

Don't be afraid to make big jumps. 50 to 60 lb jumps are no big deal. If youve never done that then its a bad idea. Just work up to a weight that you know will give you an idea of whether or not 800 I'd gonna go. 725-735 should be good enough for that while leaving plenty in the tank for 800 if it's there.
1708 total @220 Raw
Improve my total every time I step on the platform.

The way i see it the bigger u pull the more u need to warm up, risking injury for a gym max if diff to risking injury for a comp max. I would get all those reps in. I only dl 180 and if i test max i go
60kg x15 ( cuz its the minimum with the plates i have )
80kg x10
100kg x3
120kg x1
130kg x1
140kg x1
150kg x1
160kg x1
170kg x1
180kg x1 and then either max with 185 before or 190 or whatever. I know its not much but its alot for me and i havnt got injured like this before even though my form was horrible. I do the same for bench after tearing each rotator cuff at a meet thinking i could do a 50% x5 then 80%x1 90%x1 102.5%x1Athletics > Aesthetics
I guess its time to start training again.

I only have been doing deads for less than half a year and just hit 405 a week ago, so my opinion's probably mute.
but here's Pete rubish going for 800:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9nZ-F7MHpbA
he did 315x3, 405x2, 495x1, w/belt now: 590 x1, 680x1, 750x1 then finally 800x1.
He did weigh 7lbs heavier than you though, also that might just work for him.

*tip. Do not do heavy bench press the night before deadlifts. Everything was moving fast, got up to 675 and started getting shooting pains on both sides of my pecs, tried moving my grip out but it was too late. Felt like my chest was going to rip apart, so I shut it down and will try next wk probably.
