So there are not a lot of information about this, and since arginine is such a wellknown muscle building supplement I thought a thread about this would be nice.
So I am confused, I've read that Arginine needs to be taken with a transporter, BAAR- Blind Amino Acid Rider, to be effective to cross the blood brain barrier.
What is a BAAR? Where do you get this? I also read Arginine pyroglutamate access but not Arginine hcl.
Anyone sitting on some information about this? I've ordered Argininepowder and don't wanna take it for no benefit

The was one, pretty old, study that showed that arginine pyroglutamate improved the crossing of the BBB, but that was just one study and scientists believe that arginine pyroglutamate might actually not help the crossing of the BBB since it contains lysine which competes with arginine for the crossing of the BBB.
Regular L-Arginine is your best bet if you're looking for increased NO levels and increased GH (if you're older, won't do you much good at the age of 20).
I tried to link a good article discussing this but my post count is below 50

No it's not. L-Arginine does not contribute to blood flow, and levels to boost GH production to a noticeable level are far too high.
@OP: I don't believe Arginine crosses the BBB, and the limited searching I've seen on the BAAR thing indicates it's a complete marketing term with no scientific basis. If you're actually looking for enhanced blood flow: Citrulline, agmatine, and nitrates are your friend.
