Do any supplements (mainly PWO) have the ability to cause a false positive for a pre employment drug screen? Any feedback on the matter is appreciated.

Chances of a PWO causing a false positive in a standard drug test are slim to none. They are specifically designed for alchohol and illegal substances only and don't vary much from certain classifications of drugs.

If you are worried...don't take it for a few days, take an over the counter diaretic. Then the day of don't drink any water about an hour before the test to avoid dillution which could be considered a fail and pop 4 standard asprin 2-3 hours out.

If you are worried about dillution, take some creatine and a multi. Creatine in the urine masks dillution and the multi will give you pee the color they are looking for.

Take APS phenadrine, Jack3d, DMAA, ect. prior to an immunoassay analysis, and watch how fast they ask you about amphetamine use. --> While it's definitely true that ultimately the results will come back in the individual's favor [after the sample is sent to a lab for GC-MS verification], there's no reason to willingly subject yourself to such unnecessary headaches and scrutiny.

I was wondering the same thing. I had to take a cheek swab drug test yesterday and I'm on a EC stack right now.

I figured if you could prove the source if you failed and they would send it to a more specific lab/test or re-test all together. Thanks for the input from everyone. I am not that worried but you never know in terms or false positives.

Depends on the test I suppose... and the purity of your pre. But not usually.

immunoassay analysis = can be problematic for PEA-based supplements

GC-MS analysis = no problems whatsoever

False/positives after taking something like DMAA and/or PEA are likely a direct result of the testing methodologies in question i.e. immunoassay analysis. They hold no legal merit, as they do not accurately determine amphetamine use. Unlike GC-MS, the results obtained from immunoassay panels are not conclusive. PEA [can] cross-react with the antibody and elicit a false positive. False positives can only be verified via GC-MS, in which no DMAA and/or PEA positives have ever been confirmed.
