@Farley, you putting any emphasis on press? I found 5/3/1 was good for my overhead press.
@Chazzy, if we cant keep people in this thread then I dont foresee there needing to be another Shack thread. I hope the next one will be the new "last thread" but it isnt looking promisingYou would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.

My primary emphasis right now is both press and bench.
I hit my long term squat goal back in like 2011 with a 405 single, and then about a year later I tripped 405 and got 425 for a single. But I never pressed 200 (190), and I never benched 300 let alone 315 (280 technically is all).
So I have a lot more pent up motivation on those. And not just for repping things out, which I've done a little better at than 1RM I think

Texas method shot my bench and press up. It for sure shot my squat up the most. But nothing has given me better pressing strength also. Seems to be the case for most lifters on here as well. Smolov Jr works but you'll peak and lose some...Also the risk of injury is much greater.

Also, im on that protein pie diet for past 3 days. I hope the scale will drop down after ive finished with the last peace. I noticed when i did bag work in the morning, it really gave a boost to the metabolism! But its hard to get up so early for no particular reason :P so have been just working out in the evenings instead! (i have a vaca and i like to sleeeeep and do nothing).

I've recently become obsessed with coconut. Coconut ice cream, cooking with coconut oil, coconut milk in protein shakes, coconut creamer in coffee, coconut covered cashews, pina coladas. F*ckk I love coconut.
I just spent the last 10 hrs doing calculus. I feel like a retard pretending to be a genius.Planted like a tree beside the river of truth.

Can someone give me a good strength building split please?
Wanting to get more serious on strength gains. Instead of just going to the gym and doing what ever.
