Hey Farley,
After I cycle through my advanced novice patterns during my cut and into my bulk, I'll be doing TM
I see you're running it + have ran it before, so do you have any advice?
I'll be running it basically as is + alternating some assistance
ie one day curls and facepulls, then next tricep ext and chinups and calves

I'm running it for squats only right now, but I've run it a decent amount in the past.
My biggest mistake was over emphasizing volume day. VD is only a means to an end, the purpose of VD is to spur progress on intensity day (ID). You may not always need to add weight on VD to accomplish this. You may at some point need to reduce VD from 5 sets to 3 sets to continue progress (esp getting heavier weights) and you may need to drop from 5's on ID down to triples in order to continue adding weight as long as possible.
There is an e-book by Justin somebody all about TM, if you don't have it, PM me an email address and I'll send it to you. Lots of stuff in it

Based on all of the videos and pictures I have seen, the guy that drops them would be a ****ing retard who would go to prison for something like 2nd degree murder or some kind of manslaughter. Most likely.
Did you ge the PM invite? Are you interested in and motivated to join that league and play out the season?

make it harder(srs). the problem is thanks to the schools and government trying to make sure every child graduates they have lowered the standards too far. these kids are smarter than that. challenge them and for the ones who fall behind, help them. and people have to accept the fact that not every kid is going to be a CEO, surgeon, lawyer, or even go to college. not sure when this became a terrible thing but it seems kids have the impression if you dont go to college then you are going to end up at McDonalds

true. I hate to "badmouth" teachers because their pay is crappy, but it does seem our standards for teachers have dropped. one of my wife's cousins is a teacher for elementary kids..... I am not lying when I say this chick is dumber than a bag of bricks. I asked a question once to her about what I thought was a pretty simple math problem(I wanted confirmation I was using the correct order to get my answer) and she said "I cant help you, that seems like some college level math"
The equation I had to answer: 2x(Item 8 +50)
I wanted to confirm that the problem in the parenthesis got solved first THEN multiplied by 2...... isnt this elementary level math? This was for some testing I had to do so I figured asking a teacher would have been the easiest way to verify the answerYou would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.

My sister-in-law is just out of college, going into education. I think middle school, not even sure lol. She was grading science papers back in November over Thanksgiving and was going to count off on a short answer because she thought "global warming causes an excess of greenhouse gasses"...and not the other way around (as they teach it). My brother and I were like um...no. She just totally didn't get it, it was explained to her, and she did her thing where she just moves on and kind of "whatever"s it without ever understanding.
Reminded me of some of my teachers from back in the day.

I must have been fortunate lol. I cant remember a single teacher of mine ever being short on knowledge in their subject matter. They may have been out of date slightly with some things, like Pluto no longer a planet(stuff like that), but they always seemed to have an answer even if it wasnt in the textbooks
You would be surprised just how much time I have to waste.

I had some that were really good, and how I did in different areas at college was a direct reflection of the teachers I'd had on that material.
My high school chemistry teacher was extremely good, it helped that chem was not required so only kids who belonged there were present, for the most part. I had a really good trig teacher too.

Haven't updated this section in forever. Been out of this thread for a very long time.
Still can't believe it is still on this iteration. Really exemplifies how many members have stopped posting over the recent past.-

Today's session.
I dislike cutting.
Press
3x5
45 x 5 (2 Pull-Ups)
95 x 5 (2 Pull-Ups)
115 x 5 (3 Pull-Ups)
130 x 5 (3 Pull-Ups)
150 x 8 (3 Pull-Ups)
1st set last AMRAP
115 x 15 (3 Pull-Ups)
Bench BBB (5:00 rest)
210 x 5 (5 Chin-Ups)
210 x 5 (5 Chin-Ups)
210 x 5 (5 Chin-Ups)
210 x 5 (5 Chin-Ups)
210 x 5 (5 Chin-Ups)
Jog
8:00
Garage (and outside) temp: 87*F-89*F (but only like 48% humidity)
Scale: Yesterday AM 210.2. Today AM 211.2. Post workout naked 212.2. After dinner 213.0 (WTF, this better correct in the next day or two)
Notes: The last time I pressed 150 for reps was April 18, so nearly 2 months ago. But I only got 6 reps then, 8 today...at what should turn out to be basically the same bodyweight...and I was bulking then, cutting now. Slow progress, but...it does seem to be progress.
