Obvious answer is obvious
Chess
Longest pro game was about 21 hours
You have to spend hours everyday with intense focus just training to prepare for a grueling tournament. The mental strain of this sport is impossible to compare to any other. Physically most sports beat it but mentally nothing compares.

I wouldn't call baseball the most mentally challenging but it definitely takes some mental acuity.
Your mentality means so much when it comes to batting. It can be so easy to go into a batting slump and it can be very hard to get out of a slump.
And anybody who says batting is easy either hasn't gone against decent pitchers or is just really good.
This is coming from a guy who has played a lot of baseball and football.

If you didn't say F1, then you are a retard (SRS).
F1 drivers need to focus on:
1) Being quick as possible( includes remembering optimal racing line & throttle/brake ratios for every single corner, correct gear shifting, optimal usage of KERS and DRS systems)
2) Their surroundings which includes other drivers & the space that is available around them on the track
3) All team radio which including both talking and listening as well as following strategic orders.
If they make one mistake and lose concentration for a tenth of a second, it can lead to a race ending accident and possibly worse.
NOTHING compares.

Baseball is hands down one of the easiest sports in the world to be good at
The majority of the time as a player you are standing in a wide open field waiting for the off chance the ball will be hit to you. You're either standing in the open field or standing in the dugout talking with your teammates about the blowjob you got before the game. Even at the highest peak of the sport, the MLB, many of the players only get 2-3 minutes of "action" over the course of a 4+ hour game. Your coach is an idiot
