Quito (New City) was pretty glum as well. Poverty everywhere.
Soeul, South Korea. That smog, couldn't see chit.
And a random golf course in Pennsylvania that was built beside a marsh. brb mosquitos and flies errwhere, cant play golf with that chit.

I was there 2011.
They had a pretty severe economic crisis in 2001/2002, like, people eating rats to survive and chit. Pretty sad, the wealthiest country in South America was totally looted by global financial corporations and vulture infrastructure corporations ...
I guess it might have still been emerging from the chit in 2007, but it was biurliful when I was there 2011. Still some seedy parts I suppose. If you're a student of history, it'll go down as one of the great tragedy stories of globalisation. The citizens in the country of jewels (argent = silver/jewels in french), reduced to eating rats to survive due to money problems.
Its pretty nice now though.

That was one of my favorite places.
-BRB ATV rides through some serious canyons
-BRB ATVs through the places they filmed Jurassic park and a bunch of other movies
-BRB Helicopter ride around the entire island seeing some of the nicest landscapes and terrains, waterfalls, and hidden beaches on the side of the island that is almost impossible to get to even on foot.
-BRB speedboat ride to snorkel at some of the nicest coral reefs I have ever seen, plus going to the forbidden beach on the other side and going into the caves on forbidden side of island.
-BRB going to the beach and walking on a sandbar to another little private beach island
-BRB swimming at any beach and looking underwater and seeing all kinds of exotic fish (Huma huma, Puffers, angelfish, etc) also swimming right next to giant sea turtles
-BRB taking the POS rental car (V6 mustang POS!) on some harsh terrain and almost wrecking it and then returning it covered in about an inch of red clay (natural earth)
-BRB hiking up the highest canyon Wamailea
-BRB Eating at some really good restaurants and having some spectacular seafood. Best fish taco on the planet at some mom and pop taco place next to the beach. Coconut syrup on pancakes.
-BRB The best coffee I have ever had in my life! SRS went to coffee plantation and came home with a bunch.
-BRB cleanest and freshest air I have ever breathed.
You sir do not know how to enjoy your vacation.
Anyway the worst places for me have been
-Flagstaff
-Williamsburgh, VA (I was a kid and had no appreciation of history)
-Miami - It is just highly overrated.
